Good Service, Nice local spot. Come for lunch and they’ll have you out in plenty of time to make it back for work. wait is real low. Is it the Best Barbecue i’ve ever had? no. But it’s a far sight from the worst. Good consistent place to get a solid lunch for a decent price.

I hate writing bad reviews, but one thing I hate more than that is bad BBQ. I’ve read the reviews and saw some great ones so I hope that my experience is the exception. I ordered a pork and a beef bbq sandwich. I received 2 pork sandwiches. The pork was less than impressive, it was dry and yet watery at the same time(not juicy watery) seasoning and flavor was lacking. The buns were also cheap. Reminded me more of a middle schoolers lunch than a “local BBQ” spot. The French fries were unsalted as well, quite disappointing. The Mr PiB I orderd was about the only thing they got right. I sure hope that my meal was the exception and that the kitchen/ pit boss was just having a bad day. Probably won’t be back, but for $28 dollars yall can do much better. Again hope yall fix whatever the issue was. Left a picture of my receipt so that my being there and purchase of food cannot be disputed.

Pretty good place, good vibe and great service. The chopped beef was good, not a lot of smoke flavor, my plate didn’t have much bark chopped in so that may have been why. The coleslaw was excellent as were the beans. I could’ve eaten a much bigger portion of both sides!

Disappointing experience, unfortunately. The food was subpar. The chicken wasn’t smoked or BBQd at all. It tasted like it was boiled and then shredded. It was very plain and completely unseasoned. The fries were also unseasoned except for a minimal amount of salt. There is only one choice of BBQ on the tables, and it’s vinegar-based. The coleslaw was on the sweeter side. The banana pudding tasted like it was made using artificial sweeteners. Wouldn’t recommend this place, even though it’s a locally owned restaurant.

Just a really good traditional southern BBQ restaurant. Lical memoribilia and old photos of t g e area on the walls. I loved the chopped pork sandwich and the smoked wings are good too. The pork is chopped to order. This keeps it fresh and juicy and full of flavor. The sauce is complementary and not over powering.

I got the Pork Lunch Plate with a Jumbo coke and an extra side of potato salad. Everything was delicious. My friend got the chicken quarter and a slice of pecan pie, and he flipped out over how good the pecan pie was. And he’s extremely picky about his pecan pie.

Pretty good food, and definitely big enough portions. I personally like the meat to be cooked in the BBQ sauce they do not do it like that, and even if you request extra BBQ sauce it doesn’t have nearly enough sauce. Still I think it’s a pretty good place to eat.

Great people and very good BBQ. My friend and I meet here weekly for lunch. The food is consistently good, the people working behind the counter are very courteous and friendly.
The food overall is very good; we have had mostly the pulled pork plate and/or- sandwiches and all the sides are also very good. I need to try a dessert, but I have been quite full after eating the main course.
I have watched the other customers with a wide range of entree options on their plates, and they have all looked very pleased with their selections. I will “branch-out” and try different entrees, but I love good pulled pork, so I fail every time I order!
