It’s difficult to find good gluten free and dairy free options when it comes to pizza. This place is the exception!
The gluten free crust was crispy and flavorful. The dairy free cheese was melted perfectly with just the right amount. None of that weird “gloopieness” that sometimes happens when dairy free pizza.
It was served hot and fresh with a healthy amount of toppings.
The service was real, friendly and genuine.
Stop googling and just order your pizza from here.

Wanted to try another local pizza place in the SCS area. Pizza was hot and ready when I arrived to pick it up. I was in the mood for a round this evening. Pizza was okay. After a few days, the buttery crust is what I remember most. Glad I tried it but I will probably continue to try other places next time.
Second day leftovers, not my favorite cold pizza and didn’t reheat well in the microwave. Best to finish the day you bought it.

Avoid this location!!! Terrible square pizza
This is the uncooked pizza I purchased below the toppings. It’s not cheese you see in the pic that’s the actual dough. This is the dough that is not cooked when biting into it. It was like a wet mat of salt when I tried to call back to explain the pizza that I asked to be well, done was not cooked in the top was completely doughy. Nobody answered or picked up.
The following morning today at 11 AM I called and a gentleman claiming to be the owner picked up. Arrogantly wouldn’t even listen to the Problem took a very arrogant posture towards me, trying to explain the situation obviously I have the pizza still because taking one bite out of it. It was so horrible. I couldn’t imagine swallowing it. Peeling back the cheese we discovered the pizza wasn’t even cooked.
It’s a 35 minute round-trip for me to drive to this pizza location from my home instead of offering to have a new one delivered pick up the old pizza … Owner just began barking at me on the phone very arrogantly instead of concerned about addressing the issue as if it was my fault they don’t cook their pizza that specifically requested “well done”
We still have every single slice in the box and couldn’t eat it because it was so horrible biting into it. Everyone spit it back out.
We will never visit this location again after our interaction with the owner when calling and explaining the situation, the tone is unbelievable arrogant.

Grabbed a small pizza peperoni. Well Done. the pizza was decent. Extremely oily cheese tho. probably the oiliest cheese in my life. they did cook it well done. as ordered. these are conveyer pizzas tho. I was hoping it could be slide in style like all the great NYC pizza shops have. the pizza was a round. it was 10.60 for 1 small. Crust was good, crunchy. i ate it all so that says something but I guess i was expecting less cheese it was alot of cheese on it. It was a decent average pizza. slightly pricey tho. However if you like supporting local pizzeria’s this might work for you. I’ve veen to NYC and ate at Joe & Pat’s and Patsy’s pizza so once you have been out east all the local MI pizzas are just average. sadly. However this is my honest review.

We’ve lived in Harrison Township for 6 years now and can’t believe we just found out about Johnny Z’s pizza. Ordered a square pizza last week for the first time from here and it was fantastic. Here we are a week later and now we ordered 2 small squares of their specialty pizzas to try them and they are also fantastic. The ranch and pizza sauce is so freaking good as well and you can tell it’s home made. Can’t say enough good things about this place!
