I have ordered from here since the day they opened, as have numerous members of my family and household. The one and ONLY time I’m dissatisfied and call and bring an item back, I’m told that there is nothing wrong with it ( it was a Calzone , burnt sesame seeds, burnt on top and bottom, and very little ricotta, I had requested extra ricotta at ordering) I was told I would have to wait over a half hour for a replacement, which I couldn’t do, and requested my $ back. She told me that wasn’t possible at this time. I could return AGAIN, later, tomorrow, or another day, but they couldn’t do a return now. I understand how busy they are, and as I stated I have always ordered from here, but to be questioned, and then told my food was acceptable, when I couldn’t eat it AND took the time to drive back to their restaurant from home was extremely rude. To not be able to refund a purchase , and expect a customer to return again at their inconvenience is also unacceptable. I left my food, and do not care about a refund. I care about how a business appreciates its customers. I’ve never, ever complained. Neither myself or my family will return here.

I was driving for doordash tonight and picked up an order from Johnny Tomato’s and it smelled so good I came back and got a pizza for myself. The service is great, the garlic knots are phenomenal, and I felt great about supporting a small local business. I love that they are available on Doordash. For the soft drink connoisseurs, they have Pepsi products, both bottled and fountain, and cheerwine! Thanks for a lovely dinner!

No sesame seeds on our Stromboli. The worker was adamant that they always ask if we want them or not, but I’ve never been asked. Typically good food, but overpriced when the service is not great. $51 for Lg Stromboli and Md pepp pizza. Sesame seeds shouldn’t be a problem for that price.

We had never had food from Johnny tomatoes so we thought we would give it a try. We ordered 5 meals to go. I had Eggplant Rollatini and it was the worst I ever had. It was a pile of mush. It seemed like it was previously made and reheated 10 times. My daughter, it was her birthday and she ordered her favorite Penne with Vodka sauce and chicken. She stated “This isn’t vodka Sauce” took two bites and didn’t eat it. The Buffalo chicken calzone was Ok not the best but not the worst. The stuffed shells were the same. The garlic knots were so burnt we couldn’t eat them and they went straight into the garbage.
I have not tried their Pizza yet. I will give it a try hopefully the pizza is Not like the food we had.

Bf and I just recently moved here from Alaska and myself, being originally from the east coast, has missed east coast pizza so much. As much as I love The Last Frontier, they do not have pizza like this, its very different! We were recommend this place and decided to give them a try. My first bite of my slice, i felt my inner kid go to extreme happiness with nostalgia. I missed it so much, I almost cried! It’s just like having it straight from New york, New jersey, which is all i remembered. Honestly, 3rd time ordering here already and everytime, never had a complaint. Just smiles and happy full tummies! My boyfriend, born and raised in AK, his first time having east coast pizza, we couldn’t have chosen a better place for his tasting. He fell in love instantly and would have it everyday if it didn’t give him a heart attack lol!
On another note, staff is always so so nice and inviting to chat with, the atmosphere is cozy and great for a pizzeria.
Always excited when he and i look at each other, smile, and say “…pizza for dinner?” You guessed it, it’s Johnny Tomatoes. Can’t wait to try the other items on the menu! It will be a fun delicious adventure!

Pizza was spot on, great crust. Friendly staff, helped with any questions. Lunch time special was a perfect deal for the amount of food. In the area, give this spot a try. They didn’t disappoint.

My husband and I were craving some Italian/pizza and wanted to give this place a try. MAN!!! I am SO GLAD we came here. First of all, the PIZZA IS PHENOMENAL. Seriously. Ranking in the top 3 best pizzas I have EVER had. And don’t even get me started on the Cannolis. Crispy, and filled to the brim with the filling. Seriously, this place deserves a reward. We will be back!!!!

My husband and I used to order from a different place but the last time we did, the pizza was horrible so we decided to try Johnny Tomatoes. Now, usually I get my pizza with light sauce on half because I do not like the sauce. Its always too strong for my taste but tonight I didn’t do that and I was blown away by the sauce! If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! This is, hand down, the best pizza I’ve ever had! And the lady that waited on me was extremely nice! I highly recommend Johnny Tomatoes!
