I waited way too long to eat and showed up here in a fit of hanger. Luckily, the line wasn’t too long. And the food was fine. My burger was absolutely a burger. No frills. Cooked all the way through. The fries were not anything to write home about. But I was happy I scored a seat with some shade. Six flags surprisingly doesn’t have too many food options better than this. As far as I could tell.

Johnny Rockets offers classic diner vibes with tasty burgers, crispy fries, and creamy shakes. The retro atmosphere is fun and family-friendly, and the staff is usually upbeat and quick. While prices are a bit higher than typical fast food, the nostalgic experience and dependable comfort-food menu make it an enjoyable stop.

My review is for the JR closest to the fountain. There is no google map location for it yet, so my review goes to this location instead for now. The staff was very slow, not friendly but also not rude. The prices were way too expensive. This is just a plain burger and fries, yet the price is almost $20. I do have the dinning pass, but still that is just insane pricing for a simple burger and fries.

Pros: The bun and fries were yummy.

Cons: The burger meat was thin and dry with a pile of seasoning, way too much spices for just a paper thin burger. I did not enjoy the burger at all for its flavor. Only the bun was good. The service is super slow, roughly 20 min line wait to order and another 6 mins to get the food.

This is just simple fast food, not rocket science. Yet this is johnny rockets, so maybe they are trying to make it as difficult and slow to make a simple plain burger as it is to make a rocket.

I think they need bettee meat, faster service, friendlier employees and much cheaper prices.

Came here with my family to order lunch. Madison had a very disgusting attitude for absolutely no reason. I purchased the dining pass and I was supposed to get my free drink bottle. She was setting up the drink bottle and placed the straw on the dirty cashier counter and I asked her for a new straw and she had a very disgusting attitude. I asked for a new straw because obviously it was on the dirty contaminated counter, she did not respond to me. She proceeded to go wash out the straw with her hands and water (just even more disgusting). And once I asked her about the new straw she stated how I am trying to argue with a 17 year old. All because I asked for a new straw! It is not coming out from either of our wages so I was not sure why she was upset. I did not force Madison to apply to work at Johnny rockets neither did I asked her for her age. Very inappropriate and unprofessional. Spoke to a manager on site and she did not do anything about it. This occurred around 5:05pm on August 16, 2025

I put this review as a 1 star, but if I could I would put it as less. Workers got the order wrong, overpriced, food is worse than mediocre, and for some reason a really long line. Ordered a burger, fries, onion rings, and a milkshake. Fries were unseasoned, onion rings were terrible, and the milkshake was alright. Surprisingly this place was able to make a milkshake and not mess it up badly. It was a good amount of food for a couple people, but not worth the money. They charge over 10 dollars for a milkshake, and they give you a horrible straw, and you have to wait 20 minutes for the straw to actually work. The workers at Johnny Rockets do not care and are rude. They don’t explain things well, Do not recommend. Get food somewhere else or not in the park.

After paying overpriced cost for meal the staff told us they didn’t have any Coca Cola because the tank needed to be changed. After pushing back, we got what we ordered. The food was OK, but not worth the price tag. For over $100 bucks for 4 burgers, the service should be on par.

I never write reviews but my experience was so negative here that I am compelled to warn others not to dine here. The food itself was ok, I got a rocket double and it was very greasy and the patty was pretty salty. I also got a milkshake, which was fine. But the real problem was the service, the cashier over charged me for the milkshake (which is supposed to be reduced in cost when you buy with a meal) and was dismissive and rude towards me when I brought it up. This on top of an hour+ weight left a poor taste and pressured me to move the line along. Do not recommend this if you are in the park, go to someplace faster and cheaper (if you can).

The food here was good. The ambiance was a throwback, and it was a neat walk down memory lane. The burger was good, I was expecting a ‘rocket-like’ satisfaction, but nah it was just good. The server tried his best to be high quality, but he needed more training or more rest. Good overall dining experience for fast food.

$43.00 for two single burgers with fries. No drink included. Place was packed with one person working the register. Absolute waste of money and time.

This was the most horrendous and disgusting burger I have ever eaten. I threw the food away instantly and was sick to my stomach within 15 minutes. This place should be shut down!
