8/27/2022 My 12yr old daughter I ordered two grilled chicken club salad. My daughter was picking out the nasty lettuce out of her foam plate. When I was looking into my lettuce as well I found moaded old Nasty lettuce under my good lettuce. “We could of gotten food poisoning!!!” When I told the waiter they was not concerned, as they knew and hoped that we wouldnt find out. . All the cooks and waiters was convesatating among eacheach other and did not care. They did not apologize when I told them that I was not going to pay for it. I just paid for the two drinks and the fries. I will never go there agian. The crazy thing is that just reopened.

Dine in was closed. However, staff were great.
Food was a little bit dry compared to other locations I’ve experienced. However, the burger itself was quite decent. Though, the bun seemed stale.
Restaurant may be understaffed.
It’s worth trying at least once.

The food was excellent but the place was so dreary in there. When you approach it, it’s very dark. It doesn’t even look open. The waitress we had could care less we were there. The fun atmosphere that is part of the Johnny rockets name is completely lost here. They were playing modern music instead of the classic 50s/60s diner music. The jukebox was broken. It was my husband’s first time ever and I was talking this place up because of how much I normally love it. But it was extremely underwhelming. We like to eat out and we love nostalgic places but he said flat out when we go back (again the food was great) we are just taking it to go. The kitchen was clean (we were seated next to it so we could see in) but the rest of the place was not. The walls are stained and dirty. Just really disappointing and heart breaking. I understand the pandemic did some damage but everything being served out of paper products was tacky and not having menus anymore was annoying. We drove 2 hours to get here since it is the closest one to our house now since the others shut down. I was heartbroken to see this place the way it was.

This was my first time going. The server was very good. Gave us great service & informed us on our options. I ordered the Patti Melt with onion rings and fries. The food was good! The onion rings are amazing. Dipped in their thousand island sauce. It’s so tasty! The fries aren’t good. They need more salt and I just didn’t care for them. We also had a strawberry Oreo milkshake and I was skeptical at first but it was amazing. The shakes are good. They have cheap prices as well. But not something you can have all the time. Definitely not the healthiest place to eat on a consistent basis. But every now and again I would go again.

If you’re looking for a 1950s style burger and soda shop this is the place to go! Delightful decor with checker board designs, red counter stools and complete 50s style ambiance…right down to the employee uniforms. Burgers and freshly grilled, fries are prepared golden and crispy and beverages are always ice cold. Managers are always on-hand, engaged in customer service and empowered to make on-the-spot decisions to ensure customer satisfaction. You and your kids will love it here!

The waiter was really nice and good, food was tasty. I gave it two stars because the manager was paying more attention to his friends then any one else, making sure they got there unlimited fries but not us, felt bad for the waiter since he had 6 others tables and he worked solo as the manager didn’t even help except his friends. Only pro I can say is that there milkshakes are mostly worth it.

I always go to Woodbridge Mall and noticed over the past 2 years that they were closed down, due to failing health inspections. Today they were re-opened, and I learned why they were closed for so long. From the moment I sat down, the seats looked dirty and unkempt. People were barely in the restaurant, and there was low staff. I go to wash my hands in the bathroom, and the room smelled HORRIBLE. Toilets seats tarped up with black garbage bags, lack of soap, floors looking dirty. My friend compared the smell to that of a crime scene.
When I asked our waiter if there was soap, he told me to use the sink that the workers used. I go to use their soap dispenser, and it was covered in dust and cobwebs. It definitely hadn’t been cleaned in years.
When we finally got the food, I ordered cheese fries, a burger and a hot dog. I gagged on the burger and almost threw up. I could only take two bites. Before the hot dog came out, the waiter warned me that it may not have been cooker properly, and that he’d be willing to remake it if I’d like. It came out and the frank was chopped in halves and put on a bun. I ended up not eating it, and the waiter agreed that it didn’t look appetizing. Not to mention the cook that made it had a beanie on and his beard was not covered over the food he was making. The fries were okay. Even though I barely ate, my stomach hurt very badly.
I think that the place needs to be deep cleaned, along with an upgrade in staff. I probably will never visit this location again. Thank you to our waiter (Sheon) for trying your best to accommodate us.
