Mediocre pizza. It was well-cooked but the dough did not stand out nor did the sauce. I got their marg pizza, essentially. The beers and fries hit the spot though. Probably won’t be coming back. The entire order for 2 pizzas, drinks/beers, and fries was like $60.

Service was great!

Johnny Rad’s is a fun, casual pizza and tavern spot that blends laid-back vibes with creative eats. It’s known for its artisan pizzas with crispy yet chewy crusts, generous toppings, and plenty of vegan and vegetarian options that go beyond the usual bar food — from vegan mozzarella sticks to unique sandwiches and hush puppies.

The atmosphere felt cool and relaxed to me — skateboard art, indie music, skee-ball lanes, and a great selection of craft beers and cocktails make it a solid hangout whether you’re grabbing dinner or drinks with friends. The staff I noticed were friendly, which made the experience even better, and the mix of pizzas and casual bar fare pairs perfectly with the upbeat but laid-back energy.

Heads up — it can get busy (sometimes with a wait), and parking nearby isn’t always easy — but if you’re into good pizza, good drinks, and a fun, neighborhood vibe, Johnny Rad’s delivers a memorable spot in Fells Point.

Totally RAD hole in the wall style spot with a great atmosphere and some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. Crispy, chewy, cheesy, and delicious.

Love this place. Great pizza & many others fine dishes. Nice tap list, etc. I used to live a couple blocks away in 2016, so I always come in when back in Baltimore visiting my dear old city. Highly recommended!

This place is known for their pizza, they have an awesome selection— we ordered the Pepe Martinez this time around and it was excellent. The risotto balls were also really good. Great variety of craft beers, both on draft and in cans. Friendly staff, fun atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit!

The hype for this place is not real. I’ve been twice and the pizza was nothing special either time. What’s weird is the quality is inconsistent . Went I first went, the crust was paper thin and the second time it was more like hand tossed. My girlfriend has been 2 other times with friends and said the same. Strange.

I will say the vibe is great and there’s a dog friendly patio. Good beer choices plus there’s a $4 “surprise beer” which is fun! The service was friendly too. I would never go back for pizza, but I would go for the other reasons mentioned

Really good place with a lot of vegan and vegetarian options. The atmosphere is very nice. My first time there, I didnt know where to go/to order and took a few minutes for someone to ask and help me. The server was very nice, he recommended things to me and helped me decide what to get.

The parking Is rough and annoying. You have to park on the street or parallel park which I hate doing in big cities, there’s no free parking/ parking lots nearby that I’m aware of, so you have to walk somewhat depending how close amd or if you can find a spot near the restaurant.
During my first trip out here, I did witness a lot of the employees eating snacks, touching their face, etc without washing them or wearing gloves so just be mindful of that.
The food I got for the first time was the bread pudding, vegan burnt ends/ pulled pork sandwich and the vegan chicken tenders. I really liked the tenders and bread pudding. the burnt ends was kinda a dissapointment, not great but not terrible, my expectations were higher. I have never came across a vegan bread pudding before, so to have one was a surprise and was really good, also not overly sweet like a lot of vegan desserts. The chicken tenders were surprisingly good especially the Buffalo style and with the vegan ranch/blue cheese, they were a little soft, but overall really good.
My second time coming, there was a different server and he was very nice and got my food out to me quick and asked if I wanted water while I waited for my food. I got a vegan pizza, which I was hyped for since I heard good things, but it was mediocre at best in my opinion. I’ve definitely had better vegan pizza. I also got the vegan donut holes and the hushpuppies. Man, they were phenomenal. I have been looking for a vegan hushpuppy recipe/place that offers them and with the vegan Chipotle aoli it comes with, so good.

Stopped by on a cold rainy night – I was starving and wanted to visit a place that had a decent selection of beers and Rad’s did not disappoint!

Ordered a couple of beers – all local to the area..both were outstanding (a märzen & NEIPA) – clean, crisp and fresh. Pizza selection was the Pepe Martinez – loads of curled pepperonis cups, melted mozz, fresh strips of basil and a sprinkling of asiago. Sauce amount was perfect and blended/balanced well with everything.. ingredients were super fresh and the crust was firm and crisp where needed but gave way to that satisfying chew you want in the crust. All around an excellent pizza! I had to wait a bit longer than expected but it was soooo worth the wait.

Really cool atmosphere!

My wife and I stopped I’m for a quick lunch. Service was quick, and the staff was cool and friendly. Started with the watermelon salad with goat cheese and balsamic vinegar. Very good! Also got the primo pizza; delicious thin crust pizza!

Definitely recommend
