My go to for Italian food. Great happy hour. Their chefs antipasto is like no other. Every dish is great, fried calamari, stuffed mushrooms, chicken Milanese and short ribs are my favorites. And they have homemade desserts and some kind of specialty gelato that melts in your mouth.

First thing you notice is how loud the restaurant is, brick walls, hard floors and ceilings, there is nothing to absorb the sound. The decor is old world, I’m not saying that in a bad way, it’s kinda fun. The staff were friendly and good but when one in our party was asked “how is everything?” Replied they thought the fish lacked flavor, our waitress responded “I’ve served this dish to almost every table tonight and nobody’s complained.” No apology or I’ll tell the chef. The rest of the meal was fine. The Chicken a la Nonna was pretty good.

We had a great experience at Johnny Piancones. The service was great, not fine dining but delicious dining. Portions were ample, prices were reasonable, would definitely dine here again. Bring your appetite. Convenient parking and entry at rear of the restaurant.

We held a rehearsal dinner here and it was absolutely fantastic! The private room was lovely, the food was delicious and there was plenty of it! The staff was so accommodating, friendly and helpful. Just an all around awesome experience and I highly recommend!

Restaurant was recommended by a friend. Made reservations a few days before and when we got there reservations didnt exist – they said our names arent on the list. They offered outside or an hour inside. One of my family members has copd so outside was not an option. Inside with a time limit of one hour was unacceptable. Mgmt there didnt care about the error made by their employee – was not flexible in making it right. Would never go back and will post on social media our unacceptable experience.
