Great place, just happened up on it looking to make a turn around! And i heard God say Go in !met Tex a local since 1996, but originally from Odessa/big ben , Texas. Bartender was very nice, the cook had just came in . But food was excellent! I ordered grlled chicken philly cheese sub. But got beef. Delicious none the less. Big parking lot to turn my large car 18 wheeler around. Thank you all for keeping America rolling! God blessed us all now let’s bless Him back

I love Johnny Joes other than the nights when “Mike the Bouncer” is working the door. I guess out of nowhere he made up his own “house rules” that they only accept Scannable id’s. I have been frequenting Johnny Joes for a while now, and have showed this same bouncer on multiple occasions my Valid form of identification time after time (my passport) and have never had a single issue. I have always been respectful, came in with a friend or two, had a few drinks, took care of the bartenders, and left on great terms, Always. So when all of a sudden Mr.mike the bouncer tells me that i am unable to get into the bar because of a “house rule” not accepting passports ALL OF A SUDDEN, it’s just really disappointing… I have money to spend and wanted to take my business to Johnny Joes and I was forced by Mike to go elsewhere tonight bc of a made up rule and his power trip. Other than this particular bouncer, I love going to Johnny Joes, i always have a great time there, if they fix this issue with the bouncer, i would give this place 5 stars for sure.

It’s nice to be able to sit at a bar and smoke with your beer. I don’t miss it too much because when you leave you smell like a smoke factory. I do enjoy the atmosphere.

Definitely dive bar atmosphere which is right up my ally! Nice personable bartenders, cheap drinks. 2 beautifully well-kept pool tables. Smoking is allowed. Would recommend stopping in for a drink if your around the area!

First time here and was satisfied with the environment! Great setting lots of beers on tap and an cans/bottles. I didn’t order food. Came to watch a Monday night football game. Lots of room at the bar and great prices! If you’re a smoker it’s your place since you can smoke inside, if you’re not a fan a smoking it might not be your cup of tea! Will be visiting if in the area again

This was my first time here, though I have heard about it frequently and decided to make it our motorcycle destination for the evening. We only stayed to have drinks, but the environment was relaxing, and it was nice to be able to smoke while having a drink.

Honestly, I don’t know what I was expecting when I went to see my friends’ band play, but it wasn’t what I intended. Great times for my friends and I! I didn’t know it was a smoking bar, which was my fault entirely. As someone with asthma, that should’ve been something I looked into.
