Visited this place while I was in PA and let me tell u, after the 1st night, this was the only bar I went to continuessly for the rest of the week. Had line dancing every night with great DJ and line dance instructor! The drinks were good and priced right like some places. If I’m ever in PA again I will definitely go back. Ate here mid afternoon on a Sunday and not many people there which is perfect. It’s more bar feeling than restaurant but it’s large place.
Jay was our bartender server and was lots of fun and attentive. We got the brisket sandwich and pulled pork which were fantastic. .
Great bbq sauce and Mac and cheese was amazing and fries are hand cut. The portions were big, almost too big but a pleasant surprise for the price. They were planning music like bluesy rock and no country! Awesome place and excellent food. Going back next time we’re in the area

The food here was awesome. We had smoked wings and the pulled pork nachos. Whoa. Huge, delicious portions of fresh and delectable food. The prices were good and the service was exceptional. Our server was friendly and helpful. We will be back again, for sure!!! Make sure you swing by when in the area. Wonderful atmosphere with live music during our Saturday mid day meal.

First time here tonight, waitress wasn’t very personable and could have kept us updated with the 50min wait for food due to a local baseball team dining in, but the food and drinks were ok.. line dancing area was awesome and entertaining along with outdoor cornhole. Though they let their website expire, they do have a Facebook to keep customers updated..

Not impressed. Brisket nachos were small. Brisket platter was tender but baked beans were mixed beans and coleslaw was very finely chopped. Hot dog was acceptable. Bartender handling inside plus outside tables and everything but cooking. Doubt greatly that I will return. BBQ pit better with larger portions and tastier food.

My boyfriend and I stopped here. We played a game of pool while we were waiting for our food which was well over an hour. We got an appetizer, it never came out, thankfully we weren’t charged. Our food came out cold and greasy. My steak had a piece of bone in the middle. They took it off for me which was nice but it was certainly not a good place to go. I regret not going to the diner across the street.

Social media says they’re open but I tried calling, no one answered. Couldn’t find anything about the place being closed so I drove 40 minutes to find out they were in fact closed. I was only able to find out they were permanently closed when I specifically looked for it.

I was down for a car show, so unfortunately, the staff was overwhelmed. But don’t let that scare you away. Great place with lots of outdoor seating.

I enjoy going to johnny and hons on a regular-ish basis. But this was the first time I rented the pavilion. It was awesome! The manager that I was in contact with was very helpful and detailed in letting me know everything and everything went smoothly. I didn’t pay extra for a bartender but the bartender that was helping us was also very helpful and nice, and patient with us. We did a buffet. The food was delicious. All around it was a wonderful time!

Hello fellow review viewers, my name is Eugene Dingleberry. Johnny and hons may be the worst restaurant and line dancing I have ever been to, and I have been to many. For one the bouncers getting in are horrible, especially the heavier guy. It seems that he is on a power trip constantly. And the food is expensive for one, and I’ve had better Smokehaus food. I would never recommend anyone come to this establishment for any reason. Thank you for reading.
