What’s for dinner? Well tonight we tried this place. The menu has some of everything, including fresh oysters.
Okay here we go… Nice atmosphere, clean and well organized. Staff was friendly and helpful. We started with spinach dip for an appetizer. It was good. My wife had the Hot Honey Chicken tenders with fries and brussel sprouts. It was more food than she good eat
In my opinion the star of her meal was the brussel sprouts ( sorry I don’t eat chicken). Although, she did say the chicken was good. I had the breaded sirloin aka chicken fried steak. It came with real mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. I’ve eaten a lot of chicken fried steak in my day. So I would rate this one in my top three(my wife’s is the best). Star of my plate was the gravy! You can get just gravy or upgrade to hatch green chili gravy. Both were good.
P.S. we will come back. I want to try the beef fajita burrito smothered with green chili gravy. It looked really good.
P.P.S. during the day when u drive by the place looks dark and it’s hard to tell if they are open.

Good food and good service, enjoyed my time. I had the smokey bacon burger and it tasted great. The fries were not very good (tasted old or stale), probably would try the sweet potato fries next time. The chicken strips were also pretty good.
The restaurant has a nice theme and feels new and exciting, but the cleanliness of the walls along the booths show that they don’t care about the atmosphere for the customers.
Overall, it’s not a bad place to visit for a meal but it isn’t one of the top places in Lubbock.

I eat here 3-4x a month but I’m pretty sure today is my last visit. I ordered take out which I do often. The girl who took my order was very nice. The sliders that I ordered were in pieces…literally. there was approximately 10 French fries and the meat patty and both buns were all over the tray. This is how they handed it to me. I paid cash and manager went to get change and gave the bills to the girl to give me but you all kept my silver. I had planned to give the girl a tip but since you kept my change and the sliders were disassembled I didn’t tip. Every time I go in there I have multiple people greet me and today your MOD gave me a cold stare a d stole my change.

Great location great experience I got the fried steak fingers I kind of wish they were not fried but the service the atmosphere at this place is amazing there was tons of people lots of families a great place to be in great place to eat the carrot cake was to die for definitely would recommend that didn’t have too many nuts or raisins which was amazing don’t really have any complaints that’s why I’m putting Johnny fabs in Lubbock as a five-star thank you so much for everything can’t wait to go back again

We arrived at the restaurant around 11am when they opened. Our server was a kind, young gentleman who made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our first visit to Johnny Fab’s. The food was delicious and came out quick and just as we ordered it. We tried the chicken fried steak, hot honey chicken strips, birria tacos, and Big Easy burger. We will definitely be back.

I had lunch with a customer here around 11:30 on 5/1. We were warmly welcomed and immediately seated. Our server, Alli Mae, was extremely kind and took great care of us. I heard great things about the cheese sticks here, so we had to try them. They were amazing! The portion size on our entrees was ginormous, so you definitely get a lot of food for your money. I had the California chicken which was grilled to perfection and set on a bed of beautifully cooked rice and topped with creamy queso, crispy bacon, and fresh avocados. I was tasting heaven in every bite. And I can’t leave out the vegetable medley and the roasted potatoes! They were seasoned magnificently. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of flavor. Overall we enjoyed a delicious meal and had a good time!

First visit to this location. Arrived 15 minutes after opening for day. Staff was amazingly friendly, smiling, appeared to be happy and enjoy thier work. Our food was handled promptly and came out hot. Drinks were filled shortly after being emptied. Food tasted great, will come back for the Green Chili Burger again. Large enough bar area with a selection not found most places. Did not partake as working but was able to observe area from our seating. Booths are comfortable and well maintained.

We were out in South Lubbock searching for supper and we came across Johnny’s Fab Cadillac Grill. A super trendy restaurant with hints of the 50’s set up with a fun modern day spin! Today we ordered 2 American plates that were filled with a combination of great flavor that were just all around favorites! We enjoyed The Johnny Fans original burger with 2 beef patties, and one of their Johnny’s Grilled Chicken sandwiches which had avocado. But don’t forget their fries!! They were so good! My kids really loved them with a side of their home made ranch and good old ketchup! Certainly a great first order for our first experience at this diner! Prices range between 10-20 per plate. I would highly recommend Johnny Fabs and look forward to the next time we have to eat there!
