I wish I remember our waitress name. She was very polite and patient with us. It was our 1st time going so we were a bit indecisive but she helped us decide on a couple dishes. Food was a 100/10. The watermelon margarita AMAZING. Will definitely be returning. We went on a Friday night and there was no wait, food came fast and the waitress even brought me ice cream for my birthday.

Service is always great, if you go at the right time you can get seated immediately. The staff is very friendly.
I love the jalapeño tilapia with angel hair noodles (you have to ask for angel hair because it now comes with a thicker noodles). It always taste the same no matter when I come. The watermelon margarita was absolutely delicious. If you have not tried it you should.

Our server was Daniel and was very attentive. He made sure we were always taken care of. I got the grilled chicken bow tie festival and it was delicious as always.

Great place to eat. Food was good and plentiful. Or waitress couldn’t have be any better. The one and only issue was the seat I was in had lost most of the padding. I could feel the frame in my backside. I let the waitress know but I’m sure the restaurant management won’t but fixing it real soon. Really though it was a wonderful experience.

I’m not sure how the majority of reviews are so good. When we arrived, the hostess seemed distressed to find us a table. There was plenty of seating so we did get seated after a few minutes, but only after she had to look around a few times. The interior is less than be desired. It wasn’t dirty but felt like the inside of a fast food chain. We ordered some margaritas that tasted like pure syrup, and definitely no alcohol in them. We started with calamari for an appetizer. It was disgusting. Beyond chewy but the worst part was the breading. Very overcooked, flavorless, and not even sure what some of the pieces were. Maybe lemon peel that was deep fried. The main courses were somehow worse. My pasta itself was fine, but the ribeye pieces on top were certainly not ribeye, and maybe not even steak. They were the chewiest, grossest pieces of meat. My husband’s chicken marasala was also disgusting. The chicken was very thin and also very chewy. The sauce itself was gross. The only decent piece of food that we ate was the bread. The waitress was very nice. She did originally forget to take off a coupon part but fixed it once it was pointed out. We also did not receive our free bread loaf to take home which was part of the deal. We didn’t say anything at that point as we just wanted to leave. We only brought home boxes of our meals so we could feed the pieces of meat to our dogs.

Love me some carino’s even though they took the timbalo off the menu they’ll still make it for you, my all time fav Italian dish. Service has always been fenominal and they run daily specials. Had the pepperoni pizza and wings, half price!! Had left over wings for lunch next day, cant beat it

Johnny Carinos used to be one of our favorite spots, but our recent visit left us feeling like the place could really use some updates. The booth seating felt completely broken — the cushions were worn down to the point of feeling like there were holes, with almost no padding left. It made the meal noticeably less comfortable.
The free bread was held warm for too long and had dried out so much it was nearly impossible to eat. The food overall was okay, but you can tell some items are frozen and reheated, especially the fried ravioli. The menu has changed quite a bit, and the prices feel high for what you actually get. My partner did enjoy the Friday night unlimited special, which was a highlight.
Service was great, if a bit overly attentive at times, and the staff was friendly throughout our visit. Unfortunately, between the worn seating, the quality of some dishes, and the higher prices, we’ll likely consider other options in Greenwood moving forward.

Used to be a five star rating, until our experience last night.
Went in with the family. Wasn’t very busy, maybe four or five other tables of people. The server we had was super rude, and very slow. Every time we asked for anything like more bread or refills, she almost seemed annoyed. At one point she sighed and even rolled her eyes when I had to ask for my Unlimited Caesar Salad to be refilled. Then the salad never even showed up until we were done eating, and they still charged me for the Unlimited, even though I only had two servings throughout our entire meal.
The pizza I ordered was burnt in the middle, and hardly baked outside on the crust, still super dought and chewy. Hardly any toppings on it, and literally only two small pieces of Chicken per slice, with the rest of the toppings just kinda stacked on top.
When asking for to go boxes, we were informed they were out of pizza boxes and given smaller boxes instead.
Needless to say, bad experience overall, and not sure I’ll ever return even if this is one of my wife’s favorite spots.
Old review:
Atmosphere a bit dated, and poorly lit.
Service was great and food was even better though.

The entire experience was great, our server Michael was attentive and fun. My significant other and I enjoyed our Valentine’s dinner. The Rosemary Lemon Chicken was incredible.

Good service, generous portions and decent food. We were seated and served quickly. The restaurant was not crowded on an early Friday evening. The house salad was underwhelming, the bread was quite nice, the lasagna was delicious and the linguini pasta with marinara and meatballs was just okay. In general, the price is a little high for the quality of the food and the dining experience.
