Our waitress was horrible. I have been a waitress in my past, and she is NOT the definition of a waitress. The guys that delivered our food and picked up our dirty plates were more attentive than she was. The prime rib had a good flavor but was tough and chewy. The salad and baked sweet potato were good. We got the 16-oz cut (which is the largest), and we split it. We each got tea, salad, and side. Our bill came to 59.00. For the amount of money we spent, I expected better service and prime rib. We won’t be coming back.

If you like a country style restaurant with country people this is the place. Very calm, kind and nice people with that Southern hospitality. My server was great very prompt, paid attention. But my favorite feature -was the main reason I came there for was the steak. I’ve lived in North Carolina for 4 years now and that was the best steak I’ve had in 4 years whether it be a restaurant or me buying steak at the grocery store.

Our entire family LOVES Johnny Bulls! The entire team treats us like family! Especially Natalie! She goes out of her way to make sure everyone is taken care of! Ribeyes and prime rib are always cooked to the right temp! Fantastic spread of a salad bar with even smoked oysters!! Everything is so delish. And oh don’t forget the best baked sweet potatoes! Will continue to make our weekly trips to Johnny Bulls

I originally was put on the waiting list to be seated at 4:30 with a party of 5. We kept getting differing stories as to when we would be seated. There were several tables that were available that sat 4 people. We would have been fine splitting our party if it meant not waiting 2 hours to be seated. Once we finally were seated, we were very disappointed in what we waited 2 hours for. It basically equated to 2 uneven card tables pushed together. Our server was attentive, which was the highlight of the experience. My food in particular was not what I expected for a 12 ounce ribeye steak for the price. It was a lot smaller than any other 12 ounce steak that I’ve had and the fat content was half of the total content. Definitely was not pleased. The 1st thing this establishment needs to do is to train the staff that seats patrons how to seat people correctly.

They always are on top of everything I love coming here and hosting my family events here! I rather come here than any other steak house they are simply amazing!!! The waitresses are all amazing and go above and beyond to make everyone in your party happy while serving other tables….. Giving the benefit of the doubt here as it was Father’s Day weekend when we attended, but we had reservations and were promptly sat at 7. We ordered our drinks and waited for 15 minutes before our order was taken. About an hour later we were FINALLY served our food. The only steak that was cooked correctly was my son’s. He ordered it well done. The other steak and burger we ordered were also served well done, However, they were not ordered well done.

We had a wonderful experience tonight for our first visit here at Johnny Bull’s SteakHouse. We started off with fried pickles for an appetizer and we were served a plateful that was plenty for my group of four to share. We then ate from the salad bar which was full of delicious toppings to choose from. We were then served our ribeye steaks and sides. The steaks were cooked to perfection and were tender and juicy with just the right flavor. The staff were super friendly and attentive to our needs. The atmosphere was relaxing and the decor was very nice to look at. They had a ton of customers when we first arrived and you could tell that several of them were locals who ate there often. When it came time to check out, we were each given a card with a 10% discount to be used on our next visit since it was our first time dining there. I was highly impressed and I can’t wait to return. The menu had a ton of delicious sounding options to try. You will not regret dining here!

A few people referred this spot for a good steak! The day we went, I wasn’t feeling my best, so I didn’t eat much of my food while sitting in there. What I did eat and reheated later was really tasty! I had ribye(great seasoning) and baked sweet potato(also good). Our waitress was really nice and patient(this was our 1st Visit) my husband had ribye with shrimp and enjoyed it as well.. oh, and the sweet tea was pretty good.
