It was good food with nice portion sizes at a very reasonable price. With chain restaurants and all these commercial choices we liked the small style of this restaurant. If you’re looking for a 4 seasons breakfast this isn’t for you, but if you want a good meal that won’t make you sick or won’t be too costly this is a great little gem.

Food is ok. Chicken and rice soup tonight was actually pretty good. Service was TERRIBLE! Our waitress Teresa did not come back to the table at all. Had to flag her down several times. Didn’t even acknowledge us when we had to get up to get the check from the hostess. Didn’t even thank us for coming in. Left her too much tip, but I didn’t want to be a jerk either.

My family and I decided to give it a try. Everything started out nice. The apple fritters tasted great. Our waitress was not the friendliest person in the world. After giving us our drinks and food, she never came back to check on us. Thinking she followed Johnny Applesead’s footsteps and left to plant apple trees in other states, I had to ask the hostess for the bill. As countless staff walked by, we sat with empty cups and very bland salty food for over 30 minutes with no one checking on us if the food was ok or for a refill on water. The hostess was nice and said that the waitress had 2 other parties with 5 people at each party. That was the excuse for why we sat.
Staff: 1 star (the hostess tried to help us)
Cleanliness: 2 stars. Interesting decor but not cleanest place. Water damage in ceiling tiles. Wood panneling on wall starting to seperate from the wall.
Food: 0 stars. The food tasted canned. Far from fresh. The food that isn’t canned is extremly salty with a bland taste.
Overall you are better off at a Subway, KFC, or sharing a pizza box with a homeless scraping the cheese off the box.

Our driver Big Pat is at the truck stop in Mt Jackson, VA. He just ate At Johnny Appleseed for Thanks Giving due to be on the road. He said It was better than food than he expected!!! Only gave it five stars cause the scale only goes that high!! ******* GOD BLESS

Well 3 fried mushrooms for $4.00 is a bit mush , mozzarella sticks were ok but cool not hot, and mushrooms were over cooked, the reason I gave a 5 is where this would post, I then called The Italian Job Pizza and got 10 mushrooms for $5.00 so where would u like to go , won’t be back here except to stay at the hotel by restaurant

Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Smelled like urine inside, waitress missed empty cups, food was nothing great, kitchen staff was in shorts.
