Johnnies Pastrami is the best in the world I have ever had. I grew up a block from Johnnies and when I was lucky I could grab a sandwich, pickles and peppers.

Institution of a place that has been around since 1942. The pastrami sandwiches are massive and delicious. The pastrami is thinly-sliced. We also got the chili cheese fries, which weren’t as unique as the sandwich. Nice ambiance. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Solid spot that feels straight out of the 50s.

Best pastrami I’ve ever had. I just happened to drive by and I said that’s a cute diner, I’m going to turn around and try it. This place is a local treasure.

The pastrami sandwich is excellent, especially with the hot mustard and cole slaw! Large size, enough for two. And the retro vibe is everything!

Haven’t checked the restaurant but the bar is pretty awesome. Friendly staff, great drinks, chill vibe, and spacious. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. My girlfriend and I sat next to the fire pit . Perfect destination for a date or hanging with a group of friends. Killer atmosphere. DJ comes in at 9

The pastrami was tasty. The meat was soft and the French bread. Also, the chicken sandwich was put together well and flavorful. The fries were delicious. They give you pickles on the side and refills. Although, the price point is high but I blame inflation. It’s like a blast to the past when you go in or outside to eat. A good family place.

Waaaaay to expensive. Great Customer Service and Nice place to sit around the fire pit but the Pastrami was mediocre at best. I was originally charged $46 for a Pastrami and Chili Cheese Fries. No drink. After inquiring about the price, I found I was being charged $1.75 for a slice of cheese on my sandwich and $2.75 for the cheese on the chili fries. Wife asked for ranch and that was additional $4.50 and my peppers were $3.25. I will stick with the Johnny’s on Adams Blvd.
