The perfect homemade comfort food place with a laid back family feel from generations past. We had the chicken fried chicken special with chicken noodle soup, and a generous portion of real mashed potatoes and gravy, and the chopped sirloin special. The staff was very welcoming and attentive but let us eat at our own pace. If you’ve never been here or miss those Sunday family dinners from your childhood, this place is a must! And ask about the homemade pies for dessert or to go.

We stopped in SC for the night on our way home. Stopped here for breakfast and we weren’t disappointed. Fast, friendly service, standard breakfast choices. I had the 3 egg bacon and cheese omelette and my husband had strawberry French toast. Food was very tasty!! There were a lot of regulars which is always a plus to see.

If you like food and great service this is a must go to place. It reminds me of the old time dinners with great food and reasonable prices. I stopped on Saturday as the young grandkids told me it was great! Then stopped Monday before leaving town, great both times! Staff very friendly and they serve you fairly quickly even when packed! Overall great place, I will definitely be back. This beats the big chains hands down! Great job!

We stopped here for Valentine’s dinner tonight and it was amazing! Food was great! I got steak deal that included soup, salad, steak with mushrooms, baked potato and green beans all for $16.25! Service was also great! I highly recommend it and I’m picky!
