Best resturaunt around!! The staff is amazing the food is superb and the view you are going to get while you enjoy your meal is unlike any other view in the area! it sits on the Iowa river with indoor and outdoor dinning options. a must stop if you’re in the area looking for great food and great people!

Food was delicious, but service was the worst we’ve ever experienced anywhere. We got our drinks & gave our food order, and over a half hour later, the waitress finally came back to ask us if she was our waitress (???), and of course our order had not been turned in. When we finally got our meal, my potato was completely wrong, and that took another 15 minutes to correct. To top it off, we never got our ticket and had to have the hostess find our so–called waitress. They did only charge 50% of the cost of my meal, but I think no one in management ever heard what happened.

Strike 3-you’re out Johnny B’s.
We called in for a take out order tonight, October 12, 2014 approx 6:30pm. From their online menu, we ordered the Chicken Fried Steak, with mashed potatoes and gravy and a salad and a Bacon Cheeseburger with fries. What we received was an inedible, very rare NY Strip steak, 2 salads and 1 order of fries. No mashed potatoes, no gravy. When we called to inform them, they said they didn’t offer chicken fried steak. Hell, when I paid $29.10 for what we thought was a chicken fried steak I even asked the girl “$30 for chicken fried steak? All she said was “yes, it’s cheaper at lunch. BIG DEAL!!!! To find out it wasn’t what we ordered, and what she “confirmed” it was is VERY BAD BUSINESS. Now for the burger:The burger was totally naked, no tomato, no lettuce, no onion….just a slice or two of bacon and a little bit of cheese on a burger that left my mouth tasting like I had been gassed with ammonia. What is that crap, pink slime? Here it is now, almost midnight and I’m still trying to get that nasty taste out of my mouth and my stomach isn’t handling it very well. I almost want to call the health department tomorrow to have your place checked out.
This isn’t the first bad experience I’ve had there, it’s actually the third. In all fairness, there have been a few very good meals we have received there. I even gave a positive review earlier in the year. At best, it’s a 50/50 chance you’ll get a decent meal. I don’t think we’re ever going to risk it again and we live in the hick town.

We eat hear often and have never had a bad meal. Busy or slow, the service, food, and steak are always prepared perfectly. The walleye is the specialty but I prefer the parmesan encrusted tilapia.

We walked and was promptly greeted. We sat down and table was dirty. Waitress cleaned table off and took our drink order. Ice tea was just uh ok I guess.
We ordered lunch and I ordered chicken strip kids meal. With mash potatoes/ brown gravy.
The chicken was brought out cold greasy and had a slight tough texture to it. I asked for it to be warmed up. When she brought it back out it was N A S T Y. It didn’t even look good anymore afterwards.
The mash taters were so peppery it was all I could taste.
I will NOT GO BACK AGAIN.
