We had an amazing New Year’s Eve at Johnnie Brown’s! Travis, one of the managers, was incredibly helpful and made the experience even better. We booked an outdoor table with a perfect view of the band and great people-watching. The entire night was nothing but fun, and every staff member working that evening was friendly and attentive. An awesome way to kick off 2026!

Old school bar vibe here. Open air seating let’s you experience the street life, the trains passing by and soak in the atmosphere. We liked the service. Waitress was very nice. Food wasn’t amazing but it’s bar food not a 5-Star restaurant. Live music. I liked my time there. Would definitely go back for lunch.

Johnnie Brown’s is hands‑down my first choice anytime I’m on Atlantic Avenue! The location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of Delray Beach with the perfect energy and atmosphere. The live music is always incredible, creating such a fun vibe whether you’re stopping in for dinner or just hanging out with friends.
And the food? Amazing. I have to shout out the fries and the honey mustard specifically — they’re truly unbeatable and keep me coming back every time. Crispy, flavorful, and honestly some of the best around.
If you’re on Atlantic Ave, do yourself a favor and stop at Johnnie Brown’s. It’s always a 10/10 for me!

Best dive bar in South Florida! Supper chill vibes, good cold beer and drinks and GREAT live music. Weekends are packed so plan on getting there early for a table or it’s SRO on the street. A Delray institution and always a fun time. If you’re in town… it’s a must stop!

This place is proof that even on a bougie address like Atlantic Ave in Delray can support a dive bar. The atmosphere is dressed down, as are the staff. The food is pub fare, but elevated with touches like pickled red onions and grill toasted buns. The value is amazing, and the portions are respectable. I normally avoid the Ave due to traffic and cost, but Johnnie brings me back time and again.

We didn’t eat, but we came for drinks and the music. No place on Atlantic Ave has the energy and fun like Johnny Brown’s. It was a fantastic night. The band was amazing and the place was packed. So much fun!

One of the best vibes on the Avenue. Great place for live music and a friendly atmosphere. Johnny’s has been one of my fav places to go for spirits and great energy for many years. Travis is one of the best servers. He is always personal and attentive. Travis always goes the extra distance to make sure we are well taken care of, and our drinks and plates never go dry. This place will def not disappoint.
