I’ve reached the age where I skip the tourist traps and head straight for the dive bars where the locals hide. This place is a gem. The service is top tier and fast, friendly, and they actually pay attention to you. It’s a simple setup: no chips, no fries, just about 7 different sandwiches for $9.50 and $4 drinks (straight pricing, no tax games). I finally tried the French dip and it was a total standout. The crowd is mostly 50s and 60s, and while the live band was a bit hit or miss, the atmosphere was 100% right. It’s tucked right into a subdivision, feels totally safe, and has that classic dive persona I love. If you want a real local hangout that won’t rob you, this is the spot.

– Fresh juice: unexpected and delicious screwdriver–the OJ was amazing.
– French dip: warm toasty roll with a bunch of meat inside and cheese melted on top. Jus was on point though a tad bit salty. Came with a pickle spear. 4.5 stars
– Italian: my friend enjoyed hers. 4 stars
– Service: was greeted warmly when we arrived and they checked on us regularly throughout the visit.
– Large space: big bar in the middle, pool tables on the side, and a large outdoor area
– Lots of TVs: good for sports watching
– Kids til 7pm if you want to bring them to enjoy a sandwich, hot dog, or pizza.
Lowlights:
– Came on a holiday Monday for lunch and it was packed! The kitchen was so backed up they couldn’t even take our order for over 30+ minutes. Good thing we were there to chill and weren’t in a hurry.
– Could lose track of time and do some damage here.

Great place to see live music, service is friendly enough… delicious BLT for only eight bucks. The best thing on the menu is the fresh squeezed, orange juice screwdriver. In my humble opinion.

Jonathan’s Pub is absolutely my favorite hangout in Cocoa Beach! Our golf league goes there every Friday – and just had my birthday party on the back porch last night. – and it’s always a great time! Danny and his staff are always great to us! Service is always spectacular, bartenders are the best, drinks are fair-priced, sandwiches are under-rated but great, and the vibe is the coolest on the beach!

Jonathan’s Pub is one of my favorite spots! The Italian combos are absolutely awesome — always hit the spot. The atmosphere is great too, especially with the live music that makes every visit fun and relaxing. Big shoutout to Jenn — she’s always super friendly and takes such good care of us every time we come in.
