Best BBQ I have ever had! Amazing BBQ sandwich, size, taste and sloppy sauce best ever. Their vegetables were fantastic. I would recommend this to anyone. Just wish I could of tried everything on the menu. They were also very busy and the service was wonderful.

The best BBQ, service and a very friendly atmosphere. Duwayne and Beckye have everything under control. We love to take the out-of-town relatives to John Ts as soon as the arrive and they always take the BBQ Sauce back home with them.

This place has local charm, funny t-shirts and delicious smoked meats. Will definitely make it on our list whenever we are in Winchester.

Great restaurant on the Square. Always very lively. I love the atmosphere and the decor. Sitting upstairs I really enjoy the bar, and the wood floors. Good choices of drinks and beers. Standard mix of BBQ options, everything smoked in house, great smells through the place. Brisket was very good, their choices of sauce are good too. I really enjoy this place and can’t wait to go back.

We eat here fairly often because my husband drags me along. The owner is always there with a smile. I’ve never been impressed with the food. The BBQ is okay, the sides are hit or miss. In the past, we’ve always had good service but last night our waitress was terrible. She wasn’t interested in serving us at all. We saw the kind busboy more often than her. Approximately 10 mins after receiving our food she asked if we wanted dessert and left our check. Refills were long awaited and she didn’t even have the courtesy to bring my husband his card back – she told the busboy to do it. Think about promoting him and firing Alicia. Being attentive and offering kind words go a long way in the service industry.

We went into John T’s for lunch and all enjoyed it a lot! The restaurant is cozy, casual and was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Our waitress was quick and friendly. The fried pickles were great and we all loved the pulled pork sandwiches we’d ordered. It was a ton of food for each of us! We will definitely go back. They also have a great option for take out where you can call ahead and pull up right in the back and they’ll bring your food right out. Definitely recommend!!

Food, service and atmosphere was amazing. Big johns brisket sandwich was so good. Tender, moist, and just right about of spice. Smoked bacon BLT was out of this world. Inexpensive beer and fried pickles were extra special touch. Waiter was on point. Be back soon.
