Very dissatisfied with this establishment. The lady that took our order was very pleasant. The kitchen staff on the other hand was very not. After placing our order my husband nephew and I waited over 40 minutes to receive our meals. My husband’s was not correct so it took another 25 minutes to receive his. It still wasn’t right and it looked like they just threw it in the box. We just left after and will never going back. A waste of $65.

Honest Review. Ordered at exactly 1:53pm. The lady at the counter stated the food would be done in 25 minutes. I was prepared to wait at least 45 minutes. Food was ready an hour later.
Service was a 3/5 simply because of the wait and no update while waiting.
Food 3/5 as the Mac and Cheese was as described from other customers. It was hard and not tasty at all.
Parking was a bit tricky.
The Upside: Catfish was fresh, perfectly seasoned and well cooked. Obviously the hush puppies aren’t homemade but they were hot and fresh. The restaurant had a nice intimate atmosphere for dining in. Unfortunately I did not use the restroom because that’s a huge factor when rating restaurants.
Overall, I would definitely return for another meal. From a brother to another brother. Look into your Mac and Cheese recipe. That’s one side dish we take seriously. Much love and respect.

I’m always gonna give my honest opinion and this restaurant really dropped the ball to me. I understand that takeout food is going to taste a little different then if you sit down in the restaurant and eat it fresh, but one thing takeout can’t do is take away flavor and this food lacked basic seasoning. I had the orange roughy dinner with mac & cheese, and broccoli with cheese. The fish was literally just battered in cornmeal and fried with no seasoning. The macaroni and cheese was just boiled noodles and cheese sauce no seasoning. The only season in the broccoli had was the sprinkle cheese that they melted on top of it. I was really looking forward to finding a new local spot with good fried fish. This wasn’t it. I couldn’t even add my own seasonings and eat it.

We called the restaurant about Buy one get one quesadilla special we’re told was only for online orders. We attempted to order online but couldn’t get the site to give us the discount. We entered the restaurant in the staff was very helpful in assisting with the online ordering.

I didn’t even want to post my entire catfish dinner to save them some embarrassment. This by far my least favorite meal this year from ANY food spot in Cleveland. The macaroni was dry and nasty, okra barely cooked and my catfish was just ok. The amount I received was inexcusable. I will never order from here again.

Fish was seasoned perfectly I got a perch fish sandwich with fries I asked for no salt on the fries which there was no salt on the fries so I was pleased that I didn’t have any salt on my fries I was kind of skeptical because I seen the other reviews but I was present pleasantly surprised. It would have been nice to have one more piece of fish but it was under $10 so that’s fair

Absolutely LOVE the food here. I’ve had lunch here several times in the past year and half and I’m never disappointed. Might need a nap at times but never disappointed lol. Sweet potato fries, salmon and the chicken Philly wrap are my go to options. I still need to try the breakfast! We appreciate your hard work, John! Also love Shirley! She’s always so sweet when I call in to order!
