Good salad bar and soup. My chicken was good, and the mashed potatoes were delicious! Husband had ribs and chicken combo, was a bit dissappointed in quantity of food for the price, but said it was good. Felt prices were a bit high to make this a regular place to stop in our area, but we’ll go back again for a special occasion. Service was excellent! Drinks were good. Fun decor. Nice and clean!

What a fantastic spot! I recently visited John & Heidi’s Happy Daze and was blown away by the food and atmosphere. The Old Fashioneds are absolutely delicious—perfectly crafted and some of the best I’ve had. The shrimp was a standout too; hands down some of the best I’ve ever tasted, crispy and flavorful with a side of cocktail sauce that hit all the right notes. The rustic vibe and friendly service made the experience even better. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Went for fish. Was delicious! Salad bar was great! Soup was SO tasty! Definitely worth a return visit. Went after the dinner rush, so was able to walk in and sit down right away.

We stopped in for happy hour. Had the thin crust pizza. Lots of toppings! Tasted excellent. Done perfect! New owners, John and Heidi are very personable. Lots of improvements in the last week. Looking forward to trying the in-house smoked ribs. The Pictures look amazing! I give it a 5 star.

To make it short and sweet; a close friend of mine went there to eat and spend time with loved ones as she always did at the Happy Daze. She had 2 drinks. Well.. one.. she said the 2nd one was bitter and didn’t drink it after that. She now has to pay $1k in fines (not mad at the person who called I get it). I am not a snitch or intending to defame The Happy Daze.. I am A CONCERNED CITIZEN!!!

Great service! The salad bar is the best, lots of options. However, the ribeye was terrible! Super thin cut, grizzly, and fatty, hard to chew, tasted like oil. The jumbo fried shrimp was great, but the prepackaged cocktail sauce was the worst I think I’ve ever had ruined the great shrimp they served. The bar put out an amazing grasshopper drink. Next time, I’ll just order the salad bar and drink grasshoppers.

In the small town of Kennan, this is it for restaurants. After a fire shut them down, they are reopened and better than ever. Get there early on a Friday because it fills up quickly. There is tables in the bar and a very small dining room. The service, the food, excellent. Salad bar with hot soup was great, fish fry and beer battered jumbo shrimp were delicious!! Glad they reopened..
