The restaurant itself is nothing to shout out about, it has the atmosphere of a down home bbq joint. When you walk in you immediately know it’s going to be really good or really really bad. Thankfully it was so good! Our waitress was a doll and very attentive. My dirty baked potato was massive and delicious. I highly recommend a stop here. Thank you for the friendly conversation, great service, and delicious food❤️

We came here for lunch on our son’s Family Day at Fort Sill. Boy did we make the right decision. First, the food was absolutely delicious and worth it. Second, the 4th generation owner Lonzo, made our meal particularly special and memorable by honoring our son with some wonderful words of gratitude for his service.

My first time dining here and definitely my last. I was highly disappointed with how bland the food tasted. There’s absolute no seasoning on any of the food they serve here. The service was ok and the atmosphere was mediocre. This is not the place for great tasting BBQ. I do not recommend this restaurant.

A different flair of sauce flavor for a good change, more of a chili emphasis, which was unexpected. Unfortunately the ribs and pulled pork were pretty dry, which had me using more sauce that covered most of the flavor. I would love to catch the meat straight out of resting from the smoker for more true taste. The cafe style dining area was quaint and a nice home town feel. Not a full chili inspired BBQ fan, but only lowering to 4 stars for the dryness of the meat.

Ok this is a unique place, staff were attentive and courteous, food was great, and the atmosphere is more like a small hole in the wall joint where you can get great food and be surrounded by good people and have an entertaining conversation. Think homey spot where food is affordable and good family running it. You absolutely wouldn’t know what your missing if you judged it by the outside.
