I was back home in Trenton and I had to stop by “Joey’s” on Whitehorse-Hamilton Rd, in Hamilton township, Mercer County for a quick slice .

Tried this for lunch on a recommendation, it was good, average pizza. Wasnt terrible, but also wasn’t ‘OMG this is fantastic’ pizza either. I have worse and I’ve had much better.

This is our go to delivery pizza place. The pizza is great but it’s also a smooth process for delivering online or in person/on the phone. The deliverymen are always respectful and nice, and always earlier than they say. I’m so glad I tried this place out. The pizza is delicious and a classic Jersey pie with great crusts. First time I went to Joey’s Pizza. The pizza is by far the best I ate ever. It seems they do something different when they prepare their pizzas. We had the medium pizza, half with pepperoni and half with tomato, mozzarella and basil. Very very good. As a starter we had some medium spicey chickenwings, also very tasteful. We spoke a little while with the owner. 30 Years of experience. And very special, I have never seen one: a rotating pizza oven with 4 stoors. He didn’t want to talk about his way of preparation and recipes…a secret he wont tell!! Very kind service. All home made products!! Everybody in the neighbourhood should at least try a Joey’s Pizza.

Loved this place. Had the small stromboli with sausage. It was awesome! The sausage is very tasty and the cheese is excellent. Oh and love the sauce.
