Came in for a late-night bite and left super happy—this spot’s a reliable local favorite for a reason. The staff here is genuinely friendly and welcoming—sweet, bubbly, personable folks who make you feel right at home, even when it’s busy or late. That’s the first thing that stands out and keeps people coming back. Food-wise, it’s really solid New York-style thin crust pizza: chewy yet crispy, loaded with fresh toppings and plenty of real mozzarella. Every pie I’ve tried has been delicious, from the loaded combos like Da Big Joey to unique ones like the hot potato. Wings are spot-on, sandwiches and subs are hearty and tasty—everything hits. And on Friday through Sunday, they do tacos that are hands-down the best in Santa Rosa. Big bonus: there’s a bar downstairs (Gary’s), and you can order the full Joey’s menu right there—food comes straight to you while you’re hanging out, no need to run upstairs. The old Victorian house gives it a quirky, cozy charm—dimly lit rooms, historic feel, veranda seating if you want it. Open till 1 AM most nights, great portions for the price. Minor downsides: greasy pies sometimes, delivery slips up, interior’s worn… and parking? Street only, tough on weekends. But when you’re in? Good vibes, great food. Four stars, no question

This is the Mario D’s Pizza (add sausage). The pie smelled so good when I opened the box, I couldn’t wait long enough to take this pic… I Had to eat it straight away.
Staff is super friendly, helpful, and knows their stuff all things good food related. This is my new spot. Enjoy everyone!

More cheese than I’ve ever seen put on a single pizza. To the point that it was unappetizing, it was at least 1/3” of just melted cheese. Other toppings were sparse at best. Crust was good. I remember them being better in the past. Delivery driver was delightful though!

First impression: this place looks a little run down and kinda smelled like cigarettes. It was really quiet inside and felt a little awkward.
The woman that helped us was super kind. She was very patient with us after letting her know it was our first time. Didn’t get a chance to get her name as our interactions were quick.
We ordered the Nicks Kickin’ chicken pizza and house salad with ranch. The food was great! Pizza took about 15 mins and was definitely worth the wait. We had our salad in the meantime which our server split for us (we ordered a large). It could’ve used a little more ranch but that’s our only complaint!
Overall, we spent about $40 for a small pizza (8-10 slices), a large house salad for 2, and a beer. Adding this to the list of places to visit again! (:

Ordered delivery. It was honestly great. We got the loaded baked potato pizza and it was so good. Really rich and savory; totally craveable. We alos got the chicken tenders. They were ok, but more like strips of a chicken parmesan cutlet.

Fantastic place if you want to sit down at a real table, black tablecloth, family oriented, beautifully renovated room, and fairly decent as prices go, especially in this Santa Rosa area. Good food, friendly staff, really warm atmosphere and very welcoming. Root beer.

I had their pizza delivered once before, and it was amazing! However, when we were in town and decided to stop by in person, the experience was a letdown. We were initially seated in a dark room with barely any light, forcing us to move to a table near a window just to read the menus. We ordered mozzarella sticks and three sodas while waiting for our large pizza. The service was practically non-existent. After a 45+ minute wait, we were told the pizza was coming out any minute, and our waters were filled once (mind you it was only us there). Then, less than five minutes later, the waiter returned to say the pizza was too oily and needed to be remade, adding another 35-45 minutes to the wait. We kindly declined and said we’d prefer to eat elsewhere.The waiter then became very rude, presenting us with a $15 bill for the rest of the order. When we asked if they could take it off, they threatened to call the cops on us. The poor service and rude treatment completely overshadowed the initial positive delivery experience.

Excellent pizza! I placed my last minute order at 12:25 a.m. and the pizza was delivered by 1:10 a.m. and it was delicious. I wish there was an option for a medium sized pizza rather than just small or large, but I am still very happy with the pizza. The delivery driver was very nice, and I appreciated that my order was still honored at the time it was placed. Pictured is the Large combination pizza. Will definitely order again in the future, and hopefully not last minute!
