I know when ever they say their from the east coast and they’re eating a pizza shop in CO everyone in CO rolls their eyes. I’m here for all the criticism any native Coloradan wants to give me. On my first visit here I had the meatball grinder, and can’t wait for a taste of pizza! The grinder was off the hook good! The bread… top notch. I am in New Yorker and your pizza of course is great and I’m so glad you had eggplant. Gotten several pies here and they’re usually pretty good (coming from a NY pizza snob). Today the crust was over cooked and a little too thick. i informed the manager, he apologized and said “sorry about that, we have a new guy on the oven.” 1. If you knew that then, why not closely monitor his work until he gets more proficient? 2. No concessions were offered. He could have comped me something, offered me a soda or something. 3. Care a little bit more.

OK, so I’ve passed this pizzeria (Templeton Gap location) so many times over the past several years while working but never found the time to stop in for a bite. The other day we happened to be in the area and were hungry for lunch. I recalled this restaurant and we drove over. Our order was simple – 14 inch cheese, pepperoni and jalapeño pizza, and three drinks. The 14 inch pie was enough to feed the three of us (2 slices each). Pizza was freshly baked and came out quickly. I’ve included a picture of the soda fountain. I’ve never had Stubborn brand soda. The agave vanilla cream soda and black cherry were not overly sweet, and very enjoyable. We were able to see our pizza dough hand tossed prior to baking. Pizza arrived hot, and fresh in a timely manner. Crust was thin and crispy with no sog or grease on the bottom. Jalapeños were freshly sliced and then baked in the oven. Although I prefer them to be sautéed/caramelized when sliced from fresh, they were still very good. Our only regret is not trying this restaurant earlier. We look forward to returning. Thumbs up. Strongly recommended.

Great pizza great people! I tried to order some pizza from the 8th Street location 25 minutes before closing and they would not make me an extra large pizza. I called Templeton Gap they were friendly and happy to oblige. Which is greatly appreciated especially since we eat at Joey’s every other week. We will now only be shopping at the Templeton Gap and Briargate locations. Thank you guys the kids will be pleased!

Destiny and the crew that was working were amazing. They played great music and my sons and I enjoyed the environment around us. Thank you all for great customer service amazing pizza and my son devoured is buffalo sandwich. Also the drinks we drank were delicious and tasted amazing they were made perfectly. We will continue to come and eat there again.

We were there two days ago. Best tasting pizza we had in the area so far. Had our pizza in a few minutes. Sausage on the pizza was excellent. We live in the Canon City area and only have fair pizza places. Moved here from Chicago area so our expectations for pizza are pretty high. Going back again next week. Our friends have also made this their favorite pizza restaurant.

My wife and I lucked up on this location one afternoon when I was picking her up from work and we decided to stop in. First of all, the local is dope for personal interaction and low key vibes, when we walked in the music was absolutely fire & the crew greeted us immediately happily. Because we were new to the spot we were given ample time, no rush to peruse the menu and decide what we liked, all questions were answered and suggestions provided. Once the food started coming out everything was piping hot, steam coming from it. All of the flavors were absolutely spot on. This location makes all of their sauces fresh, everything was hand made on order. It was just absolutely epic between the location and environment the other patrons coming in were super nice and personable as well. There wasn’t one thing we tried that wasn’t absolutely delicious. The prices were also great for everything we ordered, just a completely solid vibe and experience. I can 100% say that I recommend this spot for anyone looking for a dope spot to relax, vibe, and be around great people this is your location.
My wife and I will definitely be regular and frequent patrons, we can’t wait to return!
