My niece and I finally checked out Joey’s Kendal Tavern after hearing so many great things, and it did not disappoint. We both had the Deluxe Louisiana Burger. It was perfectly cooked, piled high with cheese, onions, and peppers. The portion was generous, the fries were delicious, and it was more than worth the $13.
On top of the great food, our waitress Heather was wonderful, and the owner was very friendly. Overall, a great experience and we’ll definitely be back.

Really great burgers steak and fries. Server was friendly and attentive, manager was super nice and personable. Great atmosphere for a nice meal or drink after a long day.

The wife and I got tiger bombs for the appetizer, which are like large tater tots but soft. They come with their house sauce mayo base but super good tiny bit of heat. I loved it. The Joey burger and fries were really good as well a nice size patty and toppings. Large amount of I think hand cut shoe string style fries I ended up eating all the fries first don’t normally happen. Will revisit for other options.

First time at this amazing establishment! The service was spot on! The wine pours were generous and the food was amazing! They have a steak special for 2 steaks and shoestring fries for $20 (meant to be shared) with the purchase of a drink on Friday evenings! I can you honestly admit I expected maybe Steak-Ums or a very small portion but I was so wonderfully surprised with the portion and the quality. It was absolutely DELICIOUS! I told my sister that we needed to make this a habit and find a new place to visit each Friday night. She replied, “Why would we do that when we already found an amazing place with great drink prices, terrific service and amazing food! “. The owner even stopped by to welcome us. Give this place a try! They deserve your business and I will definitely make Joey’s Kendal Tavern a new HABIT!

The owner Joey walks around and introduces himself to you and concern that everything is ok and if food is good. Bar tender Magen also very nice and attentive. First time there and definitely going back. Food was awesome. Very homey there.

Owner greeted us, shook our hands and proceeded to make conversation throughout the experience. Drinks were great! Staff was so attentive, even though she said she was the only server there tonight. Wings were saucy and delicious. It’s easy to dry out wings, these were perfect. Burgers stole the show- my husband and I loved how homemade everything tasted and the portions were huge. Highly recommend for a casual, laid back atmosphere where you want some good quality food. We will be back!

We started with the fried dill pickles. Loved them. Iced tea was perfect. Excellent burger that was so huge it was two meals. The fries that came with it were thin cut and hot. They reminded me of the kind you get at the fair. Vinegar was already on the table to add to the fries. The onion rings were excellent. Joey came to visit our table and added to the experience while he told us about his many years in food service including owning Cosmos. The food was a little slow coming to the table but was worth the wait.
