Exactly what you hope for in a casual dining spot. Biscuits and gravy were perfect. Husband ordered a bulging breakfast burrito which is 3 eggs and for him he picked ham, onion, pepper, and Swiss cheese with side of sour cream and salsa. We will be back ☺️

My wife and I went Friday on the 13th. Should have been a clue. Our server was very nice and my wife got a burger and fries. A patty melt. She said it was good. I ordered the half rib dinner with baked potato and corn. It also comes with a soup and salad bar which was fresh and the ranch dressing was good. The ribs, however, were less than acceptable. They were cooked but just barely, not tender and still with all of the fat. In my opinion gross. I asked for a box and told our server they were way underdone for my palat that I would just take them home and continue to cook them. Instead of offering to fix it she gave me a story of some bad news the owner was going through. I am not a heathan and offered my condolances, but at the same time I won”t be back.

Love a good greasy spoon restaurant and this is one of those spots! The salads are plentiful and fresh, soup is homemade and piping hot (just the way I like it), and customer service is great! I haven’t tried breakfast here yet but looking forward to doing so!

This is an adorable and friendly place to have a meal and so enjoyable! I’m almost 60 years old and they literally served me the very best open faced roast beef sandwich I have ever eaten! I came based on good reviews with a friend who has frequent the restaurant before and she was right I was in for a treat! Lovely people working there fabulous food, and a friendly atmosphere! Will be back!

The food was amazing! A couple of the servers’ sense of humor is a little different. But the food is really good. I had to get a take home box!

Ordered the Honey Dipped Chicken. It was so hard and crunchy you couldn’t get a fork in it. When we told the extremely RUDE waitress she kept walking and yelled back at us “the chicken is frozen so it has to be cooked a long time.” So basically it has to be cooked until it’s no longer edible??

Joey’s is your typical family restaurant, only better. May be a dollar or 2 more than the other breakfast / lunch joints, but the quality and preparation of the food is noticeably better. Some food items are better than others, so it’s “a roll of the dice” and why I pulled 1 star. Great soup & salad bar, some outdoor patio seating, and a super friendly and efficient staff makes this an affordable and satisfying place to eat.

Met friends for brunch, a first visit. What a great little family restaurant with a basic, diverse menu to suit most tastes, including a few vegetarian options. We both had veggie omelettes served with potatoes and toast that were good. Friends had the everything omelette and eggs Benedict, which they liked. There are plenty of other choices besides breakfast. And they’re one of only a few places that still offers salad bar, something that has become more rare than it used to be. The service was good and prices competitive, good. Set at the end of a small plaza, parking is available by the building. I’d recommend considering trying it for reasonable, basic tasty fare.

The food was fresh and hot. Staff was pleasant. Good value for the cost.
I would have like to see them wipe off the condiments on the table though after guests.
