Plain Cheese Slice
The cheese was melted to a golden brown and there were minimal pizza bubbles.
The slice was kind of floppy, but I enjoyed the taste as the sauce had a hint of sweetness and blended well with the crust.

My wife’s favorite pizza place on the point pleasant boardwork. Have been stopping here for slices every summer. The pizza is very good, always have a wide variety ready for ready to eat slices. I will say that the prices have really jumped the last two summers. I get it, the rising cost of food ingredients and labor is going to get passed onto the guest. The price is the only thing keeping this from a 5 star review.

$52 for a large drink and large plain pie that was average at best is pretty upsetting. I’ve had better pizzas for less money and the only reason I settled is because there weren’t any better options at the time and I was starving. Will probably never order from here again personally feel like I was robbed.

Dough is soft and crispy, cheese smooth filling flavor, that the marinara just boost everything to the top..

People expect way to much nowadays. Joey’s was perfect for doing exactly what it advertises to do, good boardwalk pizza. The workers are focused on moving people along as they should be, they are patient and happy to explain items if you have questions. We got 2 big gourmet slices, we asked them to cut them both in half so we can split them, they did with no issue! Those slices and 2 drinks was about $27.

I tried pizza here last year and didn’t care for it much it was extremely greasy… Gave them another chance this week and I actually enjoyed it very much. The crust was very good and airy and I also enjoyed the sauce and this time it was not excessive with grease. 1 pizza and 4 sodas was $48… A little pricey but it’s to be expected when you eat on the boardwalk.

I honestly don’t know what the bad reviews are about. Maybe the prices? Two slices and an apple juice was $17. But it is the shore so I guess I get it. The pizza was really good. Could have used a bit more cheese but it did the job.

Waited for a while to try and order with 10 people behind the register. Nobody came to help me so I went to another spot to get food. Then the owner was upset that we were eating at his table. Have better service and maybe you will have patrons eating your food. Maybe also don’t worry about people taking up tables when there are 80% open.

We came down to grab a slice and you got a number 1 fan the Mac and cheese pizza was incredible but the staff member named Doreen is proof that some people are meant to be in customer service. She was so lovely and kind and helpful. She’s the reason we would come back to this place… well and the Mac and cheese pie.
