We used to come here when it was Gyro Stop and it’s still just as good if not better. My son loves horseshoes and this is his favorite, which is a tall order.
The chicken saganaki melt is the best chicken sandwich I think I’ve ever have, second maybe only to this place in Chicago I used to go to 20 years ago.
Prices are good, portions are huge; never had anything bad here.

Nice guys, nice little place. They have a very authentic Vienna beef Chicago dog. I followed it up with a gyro wrap and it was stuffed full and very good as well. We ate at the park so I can’t say about the atmosphere. I had to pay with a card because they don’t trust a bill larger than a $20. I thought that was peculiar but ok.

Excellent experience at Joey G’s in Springfield. We ordered hot dogs, fries, pizza puffs, and gyros — every item was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Even after a few hours, the food tasted just as good as when it was first served. Highly recommend for anyone passing through Springfield.

This is my favorite spot in Springfield for gyros. It is always quick even when busy around lunch. Gyros are consistently good and the special is reasonably priced. The staff is awesome, very friendly and appreciative of your business.
