The food was excellent, but we asked for scallops and got shrimp. Our waiter put in the correction but offer us a box for our food even before the scallops arrived. Also we love wiskey old fashioned and I asked for our drink to be made with better wiskey or not rail and we got Jack Daniel’s , oh well I guess it wasn’t Kesslers. We are glad we went but too many other favorites so we probably won’t return. I can’t forget ,the French onion soup was excellent. I did follow-up with an email and my name but unfortunately no reply.

First time for me and my sisters dining at this Batollotta-owned restaurant and we were pleasantly pleased. Our server Jody was knowledgeable of the menu and his recommendations were on point. Everything from drinks to steak sauce selections or desserts….yummy. The atmosphere was nicely dimmed, not too dark and not too bright but perfect. The hostess greeted us nicely and accommodated our request to change tables to a booth. All around great experience and fantastic food. We will definitely be back.

Joey Gerard’s has the old-fashioned supper club vibes I was looking for. Great staff, awesome selection of wines and cocktails, and a wonderful welcoming atmosphere. As silly as it sounds, the highlight of my dining experience was the relish tray because it’s such a small touch that lots of restaurants have done away with. The food was good, but not perfect – the sides were not as hot as the mains and everything could have been a little warmer in general. That said, we enjoyed the experience so much that we will certainly be back.

Let’s start with the positive. Our server was excellent and everyone we encountered was professional and friendly. The atmosphere was upscale and tasteful, but not stuffy. The food was just ok. For that price point I want something better than mediocre. The complimentary breadsticks and crackers were a nice touch, but they served Ritz as the cracker. That’s one step up from a saltine. The steaks were cooked to proper temp but didn’t have much flavor. The ribs were not even as good as the ones we make at home in our oven, but they were a large portion. Chicken Piccata is one of my favorite dishes. Their version was meh. The chicken was over marinated which gave it a bit of a rubbery texture. The sauce was clear where I prefer it to be a little creamier and it lacked the lemon undertones. The mashed potatoes and spinach sides outshined the meat. For the amount we spent, it was disappointing.

First time dining at Joey Gerard’s and we had a great dining experience. It was our anniversary and they took really good care of us. From first arriving and being seated in a curved booth that seemed to look out over the rest of the dining area. We felt like a king and queen overlooking everyone. Hahahaha. To comping us a delicious dessert called the Schaum Torte, which i would recommend trying. They also gave us an anniversary card which was a very nice touch. Not too many supper club type restaurants around any more and they surely know how to take care of their customers. My husband ordered the Joey’s Fried Seafood basket and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Bacon Wrapped Scallops and they were delicious (although I wish the bacon would have been cooked a bit longer), however the Scallops were cooked perfectly and the lemon butter sauce was so tasty. Service was spot on and our server made sure we were well taken care of. If you ever need a top of the line restaurant for a special occasion, I would highly recommend going here.

My husband and I had never been to Joey‘s and thought we would give it a try on a Friday evening. The menu looked pretty extensive, which was nice and they did have a Friday night fish platter that my husband was interested in. I am a steak girl so I ended up with a New York strip. We went with another couple who purchased two appetizers which, in my opinion, were way overpriced. I cannot complain about the quality or the taste, they were delicious. My New York strip was $62 and while it was delicious and done the way I asked for it, it truly wasn’t any better than steaks I have had for $20 less. My husband‘s meal was a big disappointment. He ended up with the fish platter which consisted of three little rings of calamari, three breaded shrimp, two pieces of perch, and two very small scallops. The amount of french fries that they piled onto the plate was obscene. When the plate came out, it looked like a great meal, but digging through all the fries to get to the fish got a little tiresome. No problems with the taste on that either but for $32.95 there was barely any fish to make a dent in his hunger. Again, the flavor of everything was fine, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was very nice, but I feel this restaurant is way overpriced and not worth the money. For the fish dinner, my New York strip, two cocktails each, the total bill with the tip was $218. We are always open to paying for a meal that’s worth it, but we won’t be going back. For anyone reading this, give Carnivore a try. That is a little bit more money, but we came home with leftovers.

Birthday dinner. Every bite of food was excellent from start to finish. The mock tale was refreshing, and the service was great. Our server went out of her way with a complimentary birthday lemon meringue .

Everything was outstanding. Service, food, atmosphere, and the area in which the restaurant is located, are all very nice. It’s a bit pricey, but all portions were large. I would consider the atmosphere as being warm and cozy. There is sufficient parking in the area. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for special occasions.

It was our first time there. I ordered the special with prime rib and shrimp. The prime rib was dry and I couldn’t even chew it. I don’t ever complain but this was terrible. We do own a Butcher shop and are spoiled but this was unacceptable. But our service was excellent, we had an amazing young man. Wish I could remember his odd name.
