Joey C’s Boathouse is a waterfront restaurant and bar on a marina in Stratford. We feature a large food and drink menu that includes everything from lobster rolls, grilled and fried seafood, tacos, burgers , steaks , ribs, salads and more. We have great entertainment every week, open mic nights, Dj dance parties, and live bands. We also have a private catering room for events small or large. I had a wonderful time dining at Joey C’s Boathouse. Our server, Michelle, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. I ordered the salmon salad and a red sangria, and both were absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, the drink was perfect, and Michelle made sure everything was spot-on.

With the recent passing of my uncle, we needed a place to have our post-services luncheon. I contacted Ania at Joey C’s, and she helped recommend a perfect plan of food and drink for our party. Upon our arrival, the private room, set towards the back of the restaurant, was perfectly accommodating for our party, and the food was excellent. The roast beef and chicken marsala were the perfect choices, and no one left hungry. Thanks to Joey C himself for being a kind and welcoming host! If you’re in need of a venue for any private event, I wholeheartedly recommend Joey C’s Boathouse!

We enjoyed a nice meal on a quiet Thursday evening. It was not crowded yet the service was on the slow side. Our waiter made up for it as he was very personable and had a great sense of humor. The Wench salad was delicious as usual, and the brisket sandwich and nachos with BBQ chicken were good and filling. A positive experience overall

Just awful management and terrible service. Showed up with one my close friends yesterday around 6 and decided to sit on the patio. Keep in mind we are 2 girls who were dressed up to get dinner and look at the views. As soon as we walked in (I’m guessing the owner) was already staring us down as we sat down and made some distasteful comments to us. We had ordered some appetizers and then order entrees after. While waiting for our entrees we decided since we were already on the patio to go take a picture of the boats and look down. While doing this we were followed by the owner again and felt uncomfortable. We decided to go to where the band was to look some more and was followed that way aswell. Our waitress then came up to us and said “if we wanted to take pictures we had to close our tab”. We said oh we obviously werent leaving. We also left some stuff at the table so it didn’t look like we left. As soon as we sat down she threw our receipt onto the table and stormed off. She never came back over the entire time we were there to ask if we needed anything, which was okay but she also wouldn’t stop giving us dirty looks. As we were eating the manager again wouldn’t leave us alone, stayed close to us and wouldn’t stop staring at us. The whole time we were there we felt uncomfortable and disgusted. Never returning. This place has a Nice vibe ✨️ good people Great drinks live music, don’t forget the cover charge, it was worth it. The live music is a must see. Overall for a last minute out it was a Great night out off the water. it was nice and cool Inside or out rain or shine and…. last night…. it did rain!!! although the night did not disappoint. This place was unexpected and I enjoyed it. This was a Very nice mature crowd looking for a good time with good drinks and enjoyable music. There is plenty of parking close or near enough to walk too. We definitely Enjoyed the fisherman’s platter. Great recommendations from the waitress the seafood nachos were on the money and the Shrimp tacos were good so overall a nice place for a weekend or weeknights. So if your looking for a laid back place with plenty of view stop in and check out out the temperature here. Thanks overall in advance. if you enjoyed the review you know what to do!

Really great place to relax by the water, enjoy food and drinks. (and a band)Our first waitress was nowhere to be found half the time. Not too friendly either. Barely spoke and never checked on us. I had to go look for her twice. ( until she wanted us to pay the bill) BUT,our server after her(Devon) more than made up for it! He was friendly ,attentive and with great energy!! He helped make our visit a better one!Ty!!
