Honestly… Love the people who work there.. Very nice welcoming crew.
Overall pizza flavor was average.
They did a good job on the cook, Crisp and presentation with the garlic knots as part of the crust.
The reason I rated 3 stars is because the sauce was on the sweeter side for the Buffalo chicken which didn’t make much sense. I was expecting a franks buffalo sauce kick..
Also I got the dry rubbed chili lime wings and they dousted them with way too much of the dust. It tasted like there was sugar in it..
The wings themselves were very Cripsy and very good but that dust was dissapointing….

So I saw an image online that made me want to desperately stop in and try this item out at Joe’s Rotisseria in Asbury Park. I met up with my buddy Tyler from Foodula and we got the item I wanted…and then some!
So the item I wanted was a meatball pizza that had meatball garlic knots as the crust. This would have been sufficient enough for anyone but ya know … not us . We also ordered a pizza with cup and char pepperoni and chopped up mozz sticks on it where the crust was chicken vodka parm sliders. WHAT?!?! crazy. And maybe we added some wings. And uhh..maybe some thunder sticks.
The thunder sticks were insane. Fried perfectly with great flavor and the cheese was perfectly melted. We had chil fil a flavored wings and also Thai chili wings. The wings themselves were cooked really well and had great juiciness and flavor. If I got these 2 apps I would have left perfectly happy.
The pizzas were wild. I will admit in hindsight the mozz sticks on the vodka parm pizza were maybe a bit overkill on the cheesiness. Without them it may have been even better, but the cutlets were thin and cooked perfectly and the flavor was great. Both pizzas were a little doughier than I typically prefer but they had nice char and crispiness underneath. The meatball garlic knots were awesome. Meatballs had great flavor and texture.
This place .. is not cheap. I do think what we had was worth the cost, but plan to spend more than you’d normally plan to spend on pizza here. With the bells and whistles comes dollar signs, I was okay with the tradeoff. Joe’s Rotisseria – Didn’t Suck!

Came here for lunch today and was blown away by the food, atmosphere and the guy making the pizza and his assistant! Food was out of this world. Atmosphere was so chill and so nicely decorated. The people were so nice and friendly. The whole experience was amazing bc that’s what you get when you come here an experience from the minute you walk through the door – you’re able to see the guy making the pizza and then when you get the food the presentation is impeccable. The BEST part of the whole thing was the amazing food – best pizza I’ve ever had and I’m from NY so that says a lot ! Wings were soo delicious! Thundersticks were perfectly cooked with the perfect amount of cheese and crispy outside.

He’s been on TV! This amazing entrepreneur has created some seriously crazy pies, and other dishes that have become some jersey staples!
His triple threat has become my favorite cheat day meal ! Consisting of a pepperoni pizza, calzone , complete with a garlic butter knot crust oh my God when I tell you, I was in heaven. His fried chicken, and his Thunderstick are also some fan favorites! You can visit his location Roselle, but the one at the Jersey shore is a vibe, if you haven’t been yet, this is your sign!

Came for dinner with a friend tonight. They had seating downstairs and upstairs, and we got a seat upstairs. We ordered the thunder sticks which were 2 1’ long mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders with lemon pepper seasoning, and a large pizza with garlic knot crust which had 1/2 vodka chicken parm and 1/2 pepperoni with a spicy honey drizzle. it was all delicious, we ended up rolling out of there. A very unsuspecting location on Main St in Asbury, but make sure you don’t pass it by. They are BYOB so I definitely recommend bringing your favorite and having a good lunch or dinner with some friends and family!

This was our first time there. We ordered the Triple Threat with pepperoni. Every part was delicious. The pizza, the delicious and the garlic knots. The service was also great. We didn’t catch our server’s name, but he was very polite and attentive. Joe is also a great guy and appreciates his customers. Definitely a spot my girlfriend and I will visit next time we’re in the area.

The triple threat pizza and the wings were out of this world!!! What a home for pick up, but the inside of the restaurant is really really nice too some big screen, TVs and a good atmosphere. I highly recommend to stop and grab a bite.

Joe’s pizza, and any other food made in either of his restaurants, is always top tier. It’s the closest you’ll get to “family in the kitchen cooking” that you’ll get at almost any restaurant, let alone a pizza place. The owner is fantastic and the staff are all great. The personal triple threat OG is perfect for two people, but we had to get the pizza waffle. It was super crunchy and flaky and the flavor combination is incredible! Triple threat OG was vodka chicken and inside white chicken parm. This place is delicious as always and a must try for every pizza lover.

I literally flew across the country to come back home and get some Joe Rotisseria’s and it was beautiful. The atmosphere is so nice, the people inside are always fun to talk to, and the food is delicious but be warned of the impending food coma.
My only complaint is that I always want to try something new but since there’s no pictures on the menu I’m not sure what to choose sometimes and would love that extra help.
Otherwise, it’s impossible to be disappointed here

We did take out and had a the Triple Thread Vodka Chicken Parm with an order of Thunder Sticks (2, foot long mozzarella sticks). The food was good but I guess I expected a little more flavor. It felt like it was very cheesy but missing the spices. The Mozzarella sticks were the best part. Overall they give good service but are a bit pricey for what you get.
