It’s an old country-style place. My boys liked the decor. The food was delicious, the service was spot on, and it was much better than I anticipated.
It doesn’t look like much on the outside, but it’s better on the inside. We stopped by after we went to Aggieland Wild Animal Safari, and I’m glad we did.

We had spent $200 with the day server Emma who bless her heart was trying but she has no clue what customer service is
Then a new girl showed up and says to our table of 7 “what do y’all want” I’m sorry… please learn how to address a group of paying customer
The owner came in 35 minutes later to kick us out because we’re rude to her server! Well I see where they get it from
Big ole lady and her burley husband took pictures of our license plates as we left because we were ugly… I’m sorry please tell your waitress to learn how to talk to customers
We have also been here on a job since April and spend $100 a week there with every waitress loving us! Sad the owners don’t care what their patrons said they just provoke the awful behavior
Yep we came here a lot.. spent lots.. and they had cops come and kick us out with criminal trespassing charges

Hidden gem! Got their burger and bbq bacon turkey sandwich with fries and onion rings. We didn’t think we would finish it, but my goodness, compliments to the chef! We even had room for a finger licking brownie and vanilla ice cream dessert. Great service with wonderful bartenders. Will be coming for Sunday breakfast which includes chicken and waffles!

Used to eat at Smitty K’s 3-4 times a week before it burned down. Heard that Joe’s and Smitty Ks are affiliated. Was excited about dining here. NOT the same experience, not even close. So disappointed. Came in sat down, waitress had to clear the table, I asked her for a food menu. Sat there for 20 minutes, nothing, got up and left.

If you like the theme and atmosphere of a an old honky talk, like deer mounts on the walls, wood tables with initials carved in them, and pictures of someone’s best catch on the river from the 1970’s, along with some of the best food around, then this is the place to be. Joe’s provides great service with positive attitudes, great comfort food, and good music playing in the background. What’s not to love???
