I always have a good time at Joe’s, but especially when Sam is working. She is such a sweet and attentive server. Love that I have a bar where I feel safe and comfortable by myself as a young woman. Bar staff is excellent, and I always take people here from out of town! Love Joe’s and love Sam!

It’s a place where you could spend your free afternoon with friends. Pool games, drinks, and finger foods! We can find these all here. The music selection is good – not too loud & not too slow. You do not need to shout when talking to friends. Nice place!

I went there to watch the Iowa tradition of beer band and was extremely disappointed at the service. The band tradition has members go into local bars and bring in customers to watch the band perform. The staff members were rude to band members and our waitress was shoving them to get by instead of being polite. A lot of local bars also serve band members drinks for bringing in customers. But instead, all of the bar tenders gave nasty attitudes to these hardworking students. The mixed drinks were alright, but served with a side of bad attitude, I will gladly find another bar to enjoy beer band from next time!

The rooftop is beautiful and Stacy is an excellent server. We stopped in over the weekend for a drink, and while I was not sure if this place served wine, they do! The red blend- Mancan was pretty good, and I have no complaints.

The atmosphere was nice. There was NO SERVICE. We saw wait staff taking care of other tables. Finally went and got our own drinks. Sat there for 1 and a half hours. Never had anyone ask if we needed anything. I won’t be going back
