Neighborhood joint with some good food. I had Shepherd’s Pie, it was a little skimpy on the veggies but an awesome meal anyway. Tasty, hot, obviously prepared with care. Bartender Karen was very busy but stayed friendly and on top of everything. No hesitation to recommend checking it out.

Tried Joe’s Place on Union recently. The experience was okay overall. The atmosphere was casual and the staff was polite, but the food didn’t quite hit the mark for me. I had the Shepherd’s Pie — it was decent, but lacked seasoning and could have used a bit more flavor. Not a bad spot, but I was hoping for a little more from the dish. Might give it another try in the future to sample something else from the menu.

Super expensive for what you get. Frozen chicken sandwich was sub par and expensive. They charge the bar and food separately and they charged me 2x for the food. Waitress didn’t even give me copies of my receipts she also said she signed the receipt and when I checked my bank statement I was charged twice for the food and once for the bar. Shady stuff going on at this establishment. Currently disputing the duplicate charges.

Give this local place a try if you can. As you can see by reading the reviews the staff is so friendly, and welcoming, they take care of you. It’s not just a bar, there is a casual dining room, plenty of tables. The food is good, VERY GOOD!! I ordered shrimp and veg upon recommendation . Others at my table had penne vodka with some great looking grilled chicken, and fish n chips. Bring your family or friends. A full meal thats more affordable than many places.

Great place if you like little hole in the wall pubs. Although has a dining room I’ve never seen. Love the bar, though. Staff is very friendly. Nice local place good for strangers. Can get a little loud. Love it!

Cool place with, a good atmosphere, came for happy hour $1 off drinks no happy hour food. The bartender is funny and a friendly good host.
