Pizza review. I stopped in and ordered a slice of pepperoni and a slice of cheese. The staff was friendly, efficient, and quick with service, which made for a smooth visit.
A slice was $2, with toppings at $1 per slice for a nice size slice, which made for a very affordable lunch and good value from a cost standpoint.
One drawback is that Joe’s does not accept Visa and only takes cash or check. In today’s society, that feels a bit outdated and can be inconvenient for customers who don’t carry cash.
As for the pizza, the standout was the crust — crunchy on the outside while remaining soft in the middle, which was done well. Unfortunately, the flavor of the pizza didn’t match the quality of the crust. The cheese was rather bland, and while the sauce was decent, it also lacked much flavor. The pepperoni was similarly mild and didn’t provide the savory or flavorful punch you’d expect. These slices left me wanting something else.
Overall, while the service was good, the pricing was reasonable, and the crust had great texture, both slices fell short in flavor, and I left disappointed with the pizza itself.

We stopped into Joe’s recently and had another great experience. The food was excellent as always — fresh, flavorful, and exactly why we keep coming back.
I especially want to recognize the girl with the dark hair and nose piercing, who was extremely friendly, attentive, and professional. I saw the review previously and have to disagree one million percent. She was on top of everything, made us feel welcome right away, and had such a positive, upbeat attitude. Her customer service truly stood out and made our visit even better.
Amazing place with great food and a welcoming atmosphere. It’s clear they care about both their customers and their staff. Joe’s remains one of our favorite spots and we’ll absolutely be back again soon.

The food and service was outstanding. We both had subs, and they bake their own bread,so delicious. If you’re anywhere near New Bethlehem Pennsylvania I would highly recommend that you stop by Joe’s Pizza.

Me and my husband have been coming to Joe’s ever since they first opened our favorite stop when going to camp. We were in last Friday and our waitress was absolutely so rude and made us feel like we were a bother to her. I understand everyone has bad days but having a waitstaff with an attitude like that makes you never want to return. Joe and rose are always such wonderful and nice people their food is always delicious. But the women with the dark hair and nose piercing needs to find somewhere else to work that doesn’t involve customer service. The only thing bringing us back is the food and the owners. We miss the old wait staff that had smiles on their faces and could make you laugh. Times are tough and I understand it’s hard to find workers in today’s society. But being a decent human is free.

The Sicilian pizza with sweet sauce is our absolute favorite pizza in the area! My son loves to order the wings there as well. I don’t blame the waitresses for the service. They just seem very understaffed right now.

The food and the service were both TOP NOTCH! I absolutely loved the Italian sub with side salad lunch special! The meat lover’s pizza was also amazing! We can’t wait to go back to try out the pasta.
Updating: Went back to try out the pasta, and it did not disappoint. I had the Chicken in Wine Sauce with spaghetti, a side salad and Bruschetta. They were all fantastic! We will definitely be back! Updating to add: I can now also say that the calzone is amazing! I got it with pepperoni and mushrooms. I love that they allow for topping customization.

First time here, and it didn’t disappoint. Service was great, food was delicious, prices were reasonable, and there was lots of seating. It is cash or check only. Will definitely be stopping again!

Was very disappointed with the pizza and garlic bread. I got a thick crust pepperoni pizza and it has to be a frozen pizza shell. It’s dry and stale. Heard great reviews so very surprised. It tastes like it’s one of those pizzas you can get at a grocery store that has the hard shell and sauce packet you put together and back yourself. And that is an order of cheese garlic bread. The bread is stale.
Won’t be trying them again.

Excellent food and quick service at a very reasonable price. The portions are very large. For instance my stromboli fed me for dinner and two lunches.
