I was told by a local that Joe’s was the best pizza place in LA and they were not wrong. Best slice I’ve had in a long time. Also very affordable.

this place is straight-up comfort food heaven for me. proper new york style slices with that thin, foldable crust, slightly crispy on the bottom, chewy in the middle, and never soggy. the sauce has that perfect tang, cheese is on point, and the slices are big enough to actually feel satisfying, not some sad tiny bullshit.

it’s fast, affordable, and consistent, which is rare as hell on hollywood blvd. whether it’s a late-night hunger attack or a quick grab-and-go, joe’s never disappoints. no fancy toppings, no fake gourmet nonsense, just honest pizza done right.

the vibe is classic, staff keeps things moving even when it’s packed, and the late hours make it a lifesaver. i’ve tried a lot of pizza spots, but this one always pulls me back. if you like real pizza and not overrated hype, this is it. my forever favorite <3

Pretty underwhelmed with Joe’s in Hollywood… Just paid $20 for a very mediocre Calzone where they really skimped on the meat… If you’re a meat lover, you’re not going to be thrilled getting this “meat lovers” calzone. It’s small and mostly dough… They should call it the “Mini dough lovers.” Available now at your neighborhood Joe’s for only $20!!

Theyre open late. It’s technically food. Worst Sicilian slice Ive ever had, amazing. The vege slice fell apart, structurally it had pizza parts but that’s it. It’s not a new York style slice slice place. It’s just not right. Any ways the open late. My friend says the garlic knots are alright, they get the job done. As I said technically it’s food. Oh and 2 stars bc we weren’t poisoned!

I order from Joe’s literally like two to three times a week and usually love it but the energy is just totally was off. A cannoli was missing from a recent order (I order via door dash and pick up @ the restaurant) and when I mentioned it today picking up my new order one guy was helpful but the manager was really dismissive and kept telling me I “should’ve called him.” I reiterated that I chatted w door dash & just assumed that a $4 cannoli would be made up in my next order considering they see me multiple times a week. It wasn’t even about the cannoli, just how you would treat a consistent customer. the vibe was just off unnecessary. Food is great but after today’s customer service, I won’t be back unfortunately.

I’ve never written a review like this before, but the way I was treated here deserves to be called out. I’m a hardworking father just trying to make ends meet. My fiancée and I were out with our kids, DoorDashing to earn extra money for my son’s upcoming hand surgery. After working all night, I just wanted to grab a quick bite.

The staff at Joe’s Pizza showed zero respect or understanding. They refused to serve me even though the pizza was already hot and ready, something that literally would’ve taken two seconds to hand over. They didn’t know I had two other active orders and that the pizza temperature didn’t even matter in this case—I was just trying to grab food fast before continuing my deliveries.

Instead of treating me with basic decency, they told me not to come back. The way they spoke to me was dismissive and rude, and the tone felt racially charged. I could tell by how they looked at me and talked down to me that they judged me for how I was dressed, not realizing I’m an influencer and business owner who just happened to be dressed down that day.

Joe’s Pizza on Hollywood Blvd needs to do better. Their staff needs training on how to treat all customers with respect, regardless of how someone looks or what they’re doing for work. Racism, rudeness, and discrimination have no place in hospitality—especially in the heart of Hollywood.

We stopped here for a quick dinner craving New York-style pizza, but I was really disappointed. The server didn’t bake a fresh pizza; instead, they served pre-made slices that were just reheated. Worse, the slices weren’t even heated properly—the cheese was hard and didn’t melt. Overall, very disappointing.

Best slice of pizza I’ve had in a long time. The tomatoes used in the sauce are delicious and really makes the pizza stand out. NY style slices(or whole pies) with a perfect balance of softness with just a slight crisp(maybe crisp is wrong term) for the bottom. I’ve tried the cheese, pepperoni, and BBQ chicken. All 3 were delicious. And pretty cheap for a big slice of pizza. Making it my go to place now.
