I cant believe I have not done a review of Joe’s pizza yet. Me and all my friends, business partners and family love this pie. I found Joe’s about 3 years ago and loved his pizza right from bit one. So now everytime I need to get groceries I go to the Publix right next door. I grab my groceries and then grab a large pepperoni on my way home. Joe offers a few different styles of pie such as New York style (thin crust), Sicilian Style, (that’s the thicker usually square pizza) and Chicago Style (sauce on top), as well as a few others. They also serve calzones, subs, wings, salads and the list goes on. And there are vegetarian options. All the menue items are of the same high quality as the pizza.
As for the flavor it’s amazing. The dough is a true New York style. It’s delicious all by itself and has almost like a little pretzel type flavor. It goes against physics. Its both crisp and chewy at the same time. The sauce is very simple and not over done or too sweet, like I think Pizza Hut is very sweet. But it’s not like that it’s beautifully balanced with a slight hint of oregano. I am not sure exactly what he uses for his cheese but it seems to me to be blend of a few different cheeses. Like mozzarella with a little cheddar and provolone. It’s so delicious and it comes out bubbling hot (watch the roof of your mouth) and its really gooey. It makes long strings when you pull a small peice up to eat it. I always end up burning my mouth because I cant stop myself from opening the box and pick out one of the pepperonis near the center with a nice big ball of cheese and tossing it in my mouth. As you see it’s so delicious I forgot to take my pictures before I was almost done with my first peice..
No matter how you “slice it” Joe’s is a great pizza pie all around. Next time your in the area treat yourself to any item on the menue. You won’t regret your decision .

Delicious Pizza! We spoke with Joe and he was extremely kind. The food was ready in a timely manner. They also gave us all the seasonings we could ever need. Food was delicious as well as the salad. Both the pizza and house salad were large portions. Would recommend and will come back again!

I’m sorry to report it’s average at best. You’ll find a much better pie at The New Faull Inn or Bucca Lupo. Sorry. Just my opinion/experience.

Tried Joe’s NY Style pizza for the first time today. We will be back. Crust was perfection, not floppy – just the right amount of oregano on top, sauce is great. Good job – best pizza I have had in Florida.

I ordered three pizzas for delivery the delivery driver, had no change. For $56 order amazing great job. I asked for the pizzas to have a good undercarriage and be a little overdone, thin crust and crispy. That is not what we received. these are floppy extremely greasy and not what we ordered. Do yourself a favor. Do not eat at Joe’s.

Very good! I really loved the sauce, tastes homemade, like the dough. We did meat lovers style pizza, garlic knots, and mozzarella sticks…all were yummy!

This is some of the best New York style pizza you can get around this area, plus the wings weren’t too bad for the price. When a wing is less than a dollar, that’s a really good price. I’ve had Joe’s before, but they really have improved the pizza over the time! I will definitely be coming back and have been back already.

Been in englewood for a few months and this is by far the best and most reasonably priced pizza place you’ll find. Far better than any of that overpriced and malnourished Dominoes, Pizza Hut, Marcos etc. I got an XL cheese and a side of the garlic cheese bread for just $20 bucks. They have a lot of different options to offer other than pizza as well. Definitely give them a shot.

Went to joes to get some pizza today at 11:20 am. Door says they open at 11am but nobody was there and the door was locked. Also the images on google of this place are not real. This place is a small shop in Publix plaza. Very disappointed.
