My daughter ordered pizza and calzones today thru the app called, ” Slice”. Talk about messing up an order. My daughter order a large pie with extra cheese. A sausage and cheese calzone, a bacon and pepperoni calzone and a 2 liter of Pepsi. What we got was large pie with hardly any cheese, calzones that were made where the sausage was not spread through the calzone instead piled in one spot, mozzarella was hardly melted inside and a 1.25 pt of Pepsi. The other calzone which was supposed to be made with pepperoni and bacon had hardly any. Disappointing would be an understatement considering years ago I had grown to love the pizza here and would take my lunch break and come and get a slice. The truth be told is my daughter only ordered from here as a last resort because it’s a holiday and most places closed early or weren’t open. Never ever again.

2.5 hours for a salad and hero delivery. New owners, and food quality has definitely declined. Sad, but time to cross Marcony’s off the list. Been a patron for decades, not worth the money anymore.

The garlic knots and chicken parm were good but the chicken Marsala had absolutely zero flavor. It was like watered down mushroom juice with bland oil to emulsify it, it’s mind blowing how tasteless it was. Extremely disappointed.

They’re under new management so it’s hard to tell. But I don’t think that their children should be back in the kitchen especially without a hairnet. Aside from that the food was still phenomenal but I will come back again to give a more detailed review. But I think the prices to go up!

Ever since the old owners sold this place it has changed. My family and I have been going here since 1998. When we heard they sold we were sad but John (one of the previous owners) said not to worry the new owners wouldn’t change a thing. And well that was a lie. The garlic nuts which were my favorite and no other on the island compared are no longer the same. They are visibly different and taste different as well. The pizza doesn’t taste the same either. And 95% of the original old staff is no longer there. Honestly just wish I could have one last bite of the old original recipes

Horrible have been going there for 25 years the old owners were like Family John, Vinny and Maria were the best. Food now is the worst had pasta with olive oil and garlic tasted like dishwater pasta hard my friend had manicotti pasta hard. Previous time ordered chicken franchises got piccata. Wine glasses filthy don’t go you will only be disappointed

I’m going to give 3 stars with hope they will get even better. I’m a local home owner who has eaten at the original Joes back 14 yrs ago. Realize not only isn’t this the original Joes owners any longer but it isn’t the owners any longer who purchased FROM the original Joes. It’s changed twice. The current new owners now call this Marcony Pizza, although that is reflected nowhere yet but on the receipts. They are better than the previous owner (who got nothing right, massive delays with the simplest orders like soup, and had Hispanic cooks for Italian food) but neither has gotten close to the original Joes yet. Those special house salads aren’t the same, no green bean, no homemade dressing drizzled on it. Just a thick side of store bought dressing thick as mayo that you have to try and deal with yourself. The baked clams have a long way to go. They are mostly moist bread crumbs in a tin foil shell for $15. The pizza is a bit inconsistent, sometimes it is good, sometimes too over cooked. I agree with a previous review that there are too many of the owners kids behind the counter with no hair nets on and sticky hands. This is COVID times and you cannot be sanitary enough! Every worker there should have a hair cover and gloves. Of course they are high priced as these are the times we live in (in what pizza restaurant world is Chicken Parm much less expensive than Eggplant Parm???) but I’ll still try them as long as I see improvement, taking these review seriously, and caring about their customers. For example, when you order a few items and your bill is $68, you don’t charge your customer $.75 cents for a bitty side cup request of extra tomato sauce. That’s called “nickel and diming” in the industry. Just include it free of charge with the order. Its the small things that will build a loyal following and make you stand out. For right now, Fratelli’s is superior in all ways. Good luck.
