Fantastic food and service. I see why this place is a local favorite! The grilled fish and shrimp are dynamite! Simply cooked, fresh and fast. The customer service was great, everyone said hello the moment we walked in, we were seated quickly and our server gave us the run down of the menu. I highly recommend Joe’s! We liked it so much we are going back for dinner tomorrow night.

I have never found fish that can beat the Billy Joe’s poor boy grilled fish sandwich. I am literally impressed and amazed every time I eat it, which sadly is at most once a year when I visit. And I don’t add tartar, cocktail, or anything to it. It is perfect as they cook it. My husband gets shrimp and loves that, as well. Christopher was so nice and friendly and provided excellent service. This place is a must!

It was my first time eating at Joe’s and I will definitely be back. I was impressed with the quick service. After my boyfriend and I ordered, our food was ready in less than 10 mins. I ordered the Nathan Special. The shrimp, fish, and crab cakes were delectable.

They do NOT fry in peanut oil. Wonderful food at great prices, the Nathan special was delicious and I love that everything can be gotten fried or grilled. They have a fresh seafood market too, and the shrimp we got tasted amazing.

We came here a little after 1pm, and it was packed, only three tables available. I didn’t realize this restaurant is inside a mini seafood market, anyway we were seated and started looking at the menu. Since it’s our first time here, I wasn’t sure what to order as I was pressed for time. After deciding what to get, our waiter came to take the order – I got the grilled plater (shrimp, oyster, and fish) with fries and coleslaw. The waiter seemed tired and wasn’t too helpful, but can’t blame the guy, seeing how swamped the place is. The food came quick. And to be honest, they didn’t grilled it was I would like. My oysters seemed almost raw, and the fish was mushy. The fried plater with shrimp and oysters were good. Also the calamari was rubbery. Their michelada was great! The service overall was good. The food might be a lot better if they weren’t so swamped with lunch rush…:)

Incredible food and service at Joe’s Oyster Bar. It was easy to see why this hot spot was so busy. We opted for the Grilled fish, oyster, shrimp fries, and coleslaw dinner with a side of onion rings. Unsurpassed by places that charge twice as much! This will be our go to place for the month that we will be in the area.

This is a great local dive. Good portions for the price. Staff is on top of everything and never had a bad meal. Fish is fresh and all the sides are just as fresh. Like I said great hole in the wall type of place. Just so u know paper plates and plastic ware. If u want table cloths and heavy silverware this may not be for u.
