This place is fantasic. A very traditional Italian specialty sandwich shop (AKA) “Foccaceria Palermitana”. You can also sit down for a meal. I would highly recommend the “Vastedda special” which is a Sicilian veal spleen sandwich (AKA) “pane câ meusa”. It’s served on a toasted sesame seed bun with ricotta cheese and melted parmesan cheese. You can’t find this anywhere anymore. At $10 the price is beyond resonable. Go get one today! They also go by the name Joe’s of Ave U.
