⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3-Star Review – Joe’s NY Pizza
I ordered two slices of cheese pizza, fries (asked for them well done), and a can of Coke. The fries were almost well done, but not quite there. The bigger issue was the pizza—it tasted like it had been sitting around rather than being fresh, which really hurt the overall experience. For a place known for NY-style pizza, freshness is key, and this missed the mark.
The atmosphere didn’t help much either. The music was blasting so loud it was uncomfortable, and the three employees working didn’t seem very happy to have customers there, which made the service feel subpar and unwelcoming. Altogether, the quality felt below Little Caesars, mainly due to the lack of freshness.
To top it off, the total came to nearly $20 for two slices, fries, and a canned soda, which feels overpriced for what you get. This is the kind of pizza that probably hits better late at night after a few drinks—“drunk pizza”—but sober, it’s just average at best. Some improvements in freshness, service, and atmosphere could really help this place live up to its name.

Was there on early Saturday morning with friends Sitting at the outside table with another friend waiting for our friends who were inside ordering pizza; When someone wearing a red shirt that said “We are Under New Management” decided to forcefully open the door and smashed my pinky finger between the door and the table. I screamed out in pain and my friend yelled at the man “hey you smashed her fingers!” Again the man wearing the red shirt that said “Under new management” Looked at another man who was wearing the same said shirt and then stated “I didn’t doo that!” Laughed then walked away. An apology would have been fine and I would have accepted it. But since they denied that they actually did it and laughed was extremely rude and uncalled for. Yes my whole finger is still swollen the blood under the nail has went away. The picture was about a few minutes after it happened you can see its super swollen and blood start rise under my nail and the dirt from The door on top of my nail.

This place was absolutely amazing! Irwin Perez waited on us and it was during the monsoon. They’re located at 7321 East Shoeman Ln Scottsdale Arizona 85251. We just happened to drive by and find this during the monsoon storm.The pizza is just like a New York Pizza the taste was the best I have tasted in a really long time. The price was very fair for the size that you received. The crust was very crunchy and it was delicious. It was really worth stopping for. Thank you Irwin & Joe’s New York Pizza!

The pizza rivals a lot of New York pizzerias. It’s hard to get a good slice in Arizona but this one has been tough to beat for years especially once the clubs in Old Town shutdown for the night. After the clubs do close, this place can get loud with some unique characters looking to get a bite after a night of drinking and dancing. If that doesn’t bother you, it’s definitely worth the stop.

The pizza is amazing especially if you like NY style pizza. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I was able to add jalapenos to my sausage and pepperoni without any fuss or bizarre price hike. He only downside is the 1 bathroom they have for guest which does not have a supply air in it which makes the bathroom very hot and uncomfortable during the summer months!
