The best Italian restaurant. It is so good. The waitress was so genuinely attentetive. She made sure we had everything we needed. She kept making sure the food was good. She made sure we had take out boxes because there was so much food. It is literally so good. I really hope they continue to flourish as well as they already are.

This is a place I’ve been trying to get to for months. Finally tonight post COVID I made it. All I can say is WOW! The food was fabulous! The service was great! We ordered an app called stuffed mushrooms ($8.99). It’s a very unique version of this recipe. I thought it was soup when they brought it out. I wasn’t a fan completely of the crab stuffing. I tasted some clam in there and I don’t like them but my other diners LOVED it. Now the creamy spinach sauce it was served with was excellent! So good for dipping the garlic bread knots.
Secondly, I ordered the Chicken Marsala ($12.99). They tried to convince me to try the rib-eye steak version and it would have been an easy sell if I hadn’t just had steak last night.
While dining the dinner guests close by ordered the calzone. Their version was chicken and artichoke. Not sure on the price because we didn’t order it but it looked so good. Fabulous neighbors allowed me to photo their calzone.
Coming from the East Coast originally I’ve been looking for a more traditional Italian and haven’t found it here on the coast. This is it! Authentic to the core. I’m definitely going back and soon! Highly recommended!

I probably am not the best person to review an Italian restaurant since i rarely eat Italian but i decided to try something different. Im not really sure how this dish is supposed to taste because i have never had it. I got the Scampi Alla Palermo. It was really good and plenty of flavor! I wanted to try the desserts but i was already full. I definitely want to come back and try another dish!

The food was very good, the staff was friendly and helpful not overbearing, atmosphere pleasant, prices reasonable. They are also open now on Mondays, and have a great lunch specials Monday through Friday. Had chicken cacciatore (sorry can’t locate my picture of it) homemade bread and garlic aioli

Excellent food and excellent service. Just a little place but we love it especially the veal parmigiana. Food comes out quickly and hot! My only wish is that they would have plain bread for those who can’t do bread loaded with garlic.

Won a gift certificate for this place at the Blue Knights MSII poker run. I’m so glad that I did because I never heard of this place before. My wife and I went here for the end of happy hour and the drinks were very good. We had the crab stuffed mushrooms for starter and they were amazing! Lots of delicious sauce with the mushrooms that also went well with the complementary bread. They had 4 specials on the menu today and I ordered the veal. The veal was cooked in a Marsala sauce with tomatoes and artichokes and was superb! My wife ordered the shrimp Alfredo over linguini which was also very good. Then we topped it all off with a tiramisu covered in chocolate sauce. Wow!
We found our new favorite Italian restaurant on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
If you are thinking about trying it you need to go. You will definitely enjoy it. The service is fast and everyone is happy and friendly.
Thanks for the excellent dining experience!

We have eaten dinner here before and have always had a great experience. We stopped in this time just for a drink and the tiramisu. You MUST have the tiramisu if you go here. It is the best.

Best Italian food I’ve eaten in Mississippi. I don’t care for Salute and I don’t go to Olive Garden. You can tell this place is authentic!

The atmosphere is very nice, calm, and quiet. I love the decor, and the music was perfect!

I took my order to – go, but the cashier and the young lady at the bar talked to me while I waited and were very nice and friendly.

I ordered Eggplant Parmesan for lunch and the price was AMAZING for the amount of food that I received. It came with a salad (I’m pretty sure that ranch dressing was homemade) and 3 HUGE homemade rolls with a little olive oil & Parmesan cheese. I could not finish my entire meal, and I’m very impressed. Will definitely be back here soon!

Found this little gem when my daughter’s tennis team was playing at a high school nearby. Never been to Long Beach before, and honestly, we weren’t expecting much from this little diner. But I love Italian food, so we decided to try our luck, and I’m so glad we did! Tony, the owner’s son, greeted us at the door and quickly seated us at a fantastic spot right by the window. He volunteered that while they didn’t currently have any booths available, they were planning on renovating next month and plans were to include several of them. Some fantastic garlic bread (not too hard and not too soft) was quickly dropped off at our table by another server as we perused the menus. Soon thereafter, another sever took our drink order and delivered them. I noticed and appreciated that rather than having just one dedicated waitperson, there were actually three that were continually attending to our needs, ensuring we never had to wait long for anything. It was a masterful model of efficiency, and I’ve been to Michelin Star restaurants that could learn a thing or two from Joe’s.

I’ve eaten at fine-dining Italian restaurants nationwide, but Joe’s Veal Parmesan was the best I’ve had. The cutlets were moist and tender and the tomato sauce was perfect with the right amount of spices and flavor. Not really a complaint, but the noodles were on the thin side and there weren’t many of them. Also, while the Tiramisu wasn’t the best I’ve ever eaten, it was still very good for dessert.

Overall, the food and reasonable prices has catapulted Joe’s to the top of my list the next time I want authentic Italian. I’m so glad I found it, but I just wish it wasn’t so far away!
