Joe’s is phenomenal! From the moment we walked in, we could smell the delectable sauce cooking and Joe’s did not disappoint. The food was delicious, authentic, extremely tasty. We had the veal parmesan. The veal was perfectly prepared, tender and served in generous portions with gluten free and regular penne pasta options. The sauce was amazing. The bread was fresh, soft and delicious and they kept it coming. They had a wide variety of Italian desserts. We got the cannoli. Real cannoli!!! I haven’t had Italian food this good in years. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. The service was great, the prices were very reasonable, and the owner was super personable and friendly. Seriously, Okmulgee you have a jewel of an authentic Italian eatery in the heart of the downtown historic district. Go there! Eat! You’ll want to keep this restaurant alive in your community for years to come.

Went to a basketball game Friday night and chose to eat in Okmulgee. Googled restaurants and found this one looked the best and had the best ratings. We love Italian food anyway so it made it easy. The downtown area it sits in looked very inviting and charming. We walked in and right outside are some tables to eat at. Loved the look from the entrance. Walked in and it was dead. Of course it was 8:45 when we got there. The place looked clean and well kept. We got greeted as soon as we went in. Sat down and I went to the bathroom. They are small and single use. The men’s didn’t have good working water pressure at the time we went. But it was clean. We sat down then looked at the menu. I was excited to see so much. It was a bit overwhelming. I knew my wife wanted cheese sticks and I knew that when I noticed a margherita pizza I had to try it! It’s one of my favorites if done right. The lady took our food order and was very helpful with everything. My wife got the cannelloni with blacked chicken. I got the tour of Italy. Appetizers came out after they gave us some complimentary bread for the table. Bread was great. Cheese sticks were good and cheesy! I loved the marinara, it had great flavor. My wife didn’t like it because she sweet marinara. I like the tangier savory sauce. They sold us on their pink sauce as well. Margherita pizza had great cheese, the way you want it! It was heavy which surprised me. The crust was a bit thicker than I like but didn’t have much flop to it. The undercarriage was excellent. I would order it again if we went. When the food came out it all looked great! Really enjoyed the flavors and the texture. Everything I ordered was delicious and made the way it should be. My wife’s chicken was dry she said. But it didn’t detour her from eating most of it. Her cannelloni was serious some of the best! After dinner I spoke with the owner Endrit. He really puts passion into this place and I could see it. He said he has been open for 7 months. I can’t speak for everyone else. But thank you for pouring your passion into plates and making sure everyone has an experience when they come to your establishment. For desert we picked the tiramisu and the limoncello cake. These are outsourced from a bakery in Texas and I was worried about that. The freshness of them was the biggest concern. Well! The tiramisu was seriously the best we have had! The limoncello didn’t make the to go box either! Very impressed with those two desert items! Highly recommend checking this place out and giving him an opportunity to earn your business. If we come back there is no question we will stop at Joe’s! Thank you to Ayva for all your fun commentary during our dinner! You were great!

The ceramic plates keep the food warm and the cheese melted through the course. Great pasta.
Only small critique, can do a better with the bread.

Emma was a delightful waitress. Attentive and hardworking. The spinach artichoke dip was delicious and the margherita pizza was the perfect combination of American and traditional Italian pizza (ive had the real thing in Naples Italy and actually enjoyed this one very much!)

I will definitely be coming back. The Fettuccine Alfredo was so good and the portion was huge. Our waitress was great and the place was chill. I hope you will try this place out. Okmulgee should really keep this place alive. We always get the same type of restaurants in this town because our leadership really sucks. But now we have a good Italian place to eat and I want it to be busier so they will stay. If you tried it when it first opened and didn’t have a great experience than go and give it another try because we loved it in January of 2026

Nice clean restaurant with great food and huge portions. I ate until I couldn’t anymore and still have a damn good lunch for the next day. The waitress was attentive and my beer was never empty. Don’t know why it too me this long to try it, but we are going to be back as often as possible. Okmulgee should not sleep on this place and go give it a shot. You will not be disappointed.

We got plain rolls, no dipping sauce offered. I ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo, VERY BLAND. My husband ordered the Florentine pizza, VERY BLAND. We were offered another pizza- so we ordered the supreme, which was burned so it had to be remade.☹️ Our quick dinner for 2 ended up being7 over an hour long wait. The frosty drink from the bar was pretty good and we were offered cannoli for our time, tasted frozen. Nice server & atmosphere, food is subpar for the price. Do not recommend. Total price $60.05

Fantastic food. All original recipes cooked in store, unlike chain restaurants that use bagged and frozen foods. Very nice staff. Don’t find places like this in small towns often. They deserve to stay open. Give them your business and they will take care of you.

This place is perfect for okmulgee lol. I give it 6 months and it will be shut down like the last three places in that building.
If I could give zero stars I would! I’ll start with telling you about the MOUSE that kept running from under the booth to our table while we were waiting for our food. This should have been my sign to leave, but I thought I’d stick it out.
When it comes to the food I 10/10 do not recommend to anyone who wants to eat a decent Italian meal. The sauce tastes like it is definitely out of a jar. Frozen microwave lasagna is better than the lasagna here and that is sad. And the Parmigiana chicken was frozen breaded chicken.
Then the “owner” I believe comes out and touches my infant and acts weird and then just walks off. This would have been a great opportunity to address the mouse that I kept pointing out to the waitress or ask how our meal is. But no lol
Then to top it all off you get a $60 bill for some food that isn’t worth $20 all together.
*will be posting video of the mouse.
