This was our 2nd visit to Joe’s Italian Grill and we had another great experience. We are residents of Crosby, TX and enjoy having this place so close to home. The portions are huge and the prices are pretty affordable too. The pictures are of the lunch menu that was plenty enough to share between 2 people. My husband and I split the chicken parmesan with pink sauce (it’s the best in the house). I also highly recommend the house Vinaigrette dressing for the salad. The food is not authentic Italian so if that’s what you desire it’s not the best choice for you. The name “grill” should be a given. This is more of a “down south, home cooked, American/Italian” cuisine. The food is fresh, service is excellent, and price is reasonable.

We wanted to like this place. However, they don’t drain the pasta well for the spaghetti and meat sauce. The black pepper was overpowering. Very disappointing.

I enjoy eating here. To be honest, the menu is entirely to big. You could lose half the stuff on it and still have a decent menu. What I’ve had so far has been good. Pizza I think is done nicely. Chicken Alfredo and Ravioli dishes I’ve had have all been good. Baked ziti I wasnt thrilled about. For the most part though, I do enjoy the food and feel the price is good as well.

I have never seen a restaurant go down so fast. This was an excellent restaurant and we ate there almost once a week. Great service and friendly servers. Limited menu now. No lasagna and no manicotti and to top it off no bread! Butcher block paper on tables. We may try it again and see if it has improved. Let’s hope so.

Food is 5 stars as usual. Service is poor. I ordered a side salad with pepperoni and white cheese. Joe, the manager loudly scolded the cashier to see if she charged me extra for the extras. She charged me extra and I told him that. No problem. He walked away and I said wait a minute. He replied, well can you speed it up I’m busy in the back! That was so rude and unprofessional. Because of such treatment, I won’t be back

Our experience so far has been nothing short of fantastic. A very wide variety and selection of great food, very attentive wait staff, great chefs putting in work to please your stomach as prudently as possible. Definitely better than a lot of big name “Italian” franchise restaurants.

Not awful, but not awesome, either. Mushroom pizza had pools of water from the shrooms across the top. Eggplant was burnt on the edges. Pasta was not drained well, so the water mixed with the marinara and made the overall dish watery. Salad has a great price, but I like green on my lettuce rather than the white sections. And, where’s my fave from Liberty? Shrimp Scampi. Waitstaff is young and inexperienced, but kind and trying really hard. Hostess is somewhat apathetic–at least the one Sunday night. A work in progress. Lunch is a good price. Looking forward to when the are able to tighten up the reigns a bit. Three stars may be too much, but 2 are not enough…. 2 1/2?

Atfirst it was really good but i feel that the food is dropping in quality a bit. Last 2 pizzas I got were…..okay. The menu is a bit exspansive, takes you a.kinute to look through everything. But the service is good, polite, and speedy. Desserts are good too.

Spaghetti & Meatballs are the best! Their sauce is excellent! I’m a sauce girl so while the pizza has fresh EVERYTHING, it didn’t have much sauce. So my next visit, I’ll ask for extra sauce.
