From the moment you walk in, Joe’s Italian Bistro makes you feel welcome. The bread they serve at the table is absolutely delicious and sets the tone for the entire meal. The food is truly excellent, full of authentic Italian flavors, and clearly made with care.

The atmosphere is warm and cozy, perfect for a relaxed dinner. What really stands out is the staff, extremely friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You feel well taken care of from start to finish.

A great spot for quality Italian food and a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended.

We were on our way to Dallas from Little Rock on I-30. It was to be the last meal we would have with our daughter for at least 60 days. We had her get on google and look up restaurants and because of the reviews we chose to drive 25 miles aproxamently out of our way to go. It’s in a very confusing part of town and just figuring out where to park was hard. Once inside we were sure we had made a good choice. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. It was decorated for Christmas and whoever did that has a true talent. Our server seemed bothered by our presence. She came to the table 4 times. We ordered chicken marsala, chicken alfredo w spinach and chicken parmesan. The chicken marsala was so horrible I could only eat 3 bites. My husband and I both worked in Italian restaurants and we were shocked. The chicken cutlets were dry and overcooked, the “sauce ” was liquid and had no flavor. The noodles weren’t able to absorb anything. The rest reminded me of dog food. The alfredo dish was comparable to a frozen Marie Calenders meal. The red sauce was just awful. We paid over $70 for 3 people at 2pm or so. Then the server got an attitude. No concern that we left ALL that uneaten food on the table. Then we had to drive 25 miles back through crazy towns to get back to I-30. Would NOT recommend going out of your way for it…

A niche Italian restaurant in downtown Texarkana. The calamari is yummy . Great service and family friendly place.

I got the chicken parmigiana lunch special to go. The wait was very reasonable. The hostess was very kind and gracious. A friend recommended this place to me. I was skeptical, but it was delicious. The tomato house sauce in the salad was very unique and tasty. Garlic rolls were great. Spaghetti and chicken were very good. I would love to eat here again sone time maybe with my wife. Definitely check it out.

Just became on of my favorite places in Texarkana! The building is so cozy and the old architecture just adds so much character.
They have a very cool bar as well .
The food is so good and the prices very fair.
The service was great and I just can’t recommend this place enough!

I’m glad to see another business open in this old building. The interior aesthetics are very nice and the vibe is perfect for Italian food.
The chicken parm is pretty good, but I look forward to trying the other menu items.

First time here. I’ll post my review later. Mangia.
So, for Italian I normally go to another place in town. Fortunately for this place I misread their post about live music night…it’s tomorrow. Let me just say, I’ll be back.
The service was excellent. My waitress, Hayley, did an outstanding job. She gave me recommendations on plates, and I chose the lobster ravioli. It was delicious. She then gave me more recommendations for tomorrow night, one of them is an off menu twist that she likes. I might try it tomorrow, we’ll see.
Stay tuned.

We had been driving all day on our way to Dallas and saw the 4.7 stars so we decided to stop. I’ve literally had Marie Calendar’s frozen dinners that were hands down better than Joe’s. Extremely bland, over cooked chicken and watery sauce. That’s not the worst part, the service was twice as bad as the food. Absolutely one of the worst meals my family has ever had and we paid $70 for this dog food?!?!!

This place is amazing! The Italian nachos are phenomenal, pizza is absolutely amazing, and the penne arabiata was delicious! Our server suggested the nachos and they were everything she said they would be!! Will definitely be a regular spot for us!
