Very cool retro hamburger stand. Takes me back to the good ol days. Very clean, friendly staff. Food portions are great, prices are on point. It’s a must stop for lunch! If you haven’t been there, you should go, you won’t be disappointed.

We got a burger, fries, plus the fried cod and it was very good. Right now there’s work on the highway out front but you can still easily access the place. Also pretty cool, they’ve got a number of intercoms along the drive through lane so they will take your order no matter where you are in line. Good food, good service.

While there may not be many options for restaurants in Malta, at least there is Joe’s. I will always stop at a local burger joint when in a small town, there is almost no way to get a better taste of the area than by doing this.
I had the Wanda Burger, which has a great original sauce on it. And the fries were massive! So much goodness for your money.

This place. I can’t even tell you much more than just go to this place. The Wanda Burger and curly fries are what dreams are made of. If every burger I ate tasted like the Wanda Burger from Joe’s I’d be thrilled. I’m only disappointed that I only got one. It’s got an old school drive-in feel but it’s a drive thru. Roll right up to those speakers and pick your food up at the window. Eat and then drive right on through again. I can’t imagine there’s a better meal for the money in Malta or the surrounding area. Just go.

Despite the overhype the burgers were greasy, and didn’t taste very good. One of the worst burgers I’ve ever had, a gas station burger tastes better then this one. Only plus side was the side of fries were huge.
