Great value for money in Melbourne 2026. Everytying cooked fresh, so don’t expect you’re walking in and out. Very friendly service. It was worth the wee walk. Will eat again.

My bestea and I love exploring different fish and chips shops while riding our bikes. We stumbled upon this place and definitely did not regret it! The fish had a perfectly crispy batter, and the chips were delicious. We paired them with local beers and enjoyed our meal at the park. Kudos to the staff for being super friendly. Highly recommended!

I have been visiting Joe’s Fish and Chips shop in Brunswick West since I was a kid (over 30 years) and although I no longer live in the area, I often go back just to have the awesome chips, burgers, potato cakes and fish. This iconic place is a true representation of old school fish and chips takeaway and should be in the Fish and Chips hall of fame! I will keep coming back all the time.
