One of THE places to go for pizza when you come to Jersey. I wish I could say I knew the rest of the menu better, but I don’t because the pizza is so good I have a hard time finding a reason to eat anything else in thirty years.

Went here for the first time looking for good pizza at a local joint … could not have been happier! Hot, fresh pizza, great service and accommodating owner – all of this during a busy holiday dinner rush. Look forward to eating here the next time I’m craving pizza!

Great selection of slices and other Italian food. Joe’s Famous Pizza in Union is a must-visit spot that really lives up to its name. The selection of ready slices they have out is genuinely mouth-watering, with everything from classic favorites to creative specials. Beyond the great pizza, their menu of other Italian food to order is extensive and looks fantastic.
What really makes this place stand out, however, is the personal touch. I actually had the pleasure of meeting the owner, and his genuine pride in the restaurant and the food is immediately apparent. You can tell Joe puts his heart into every single slice.
The service is friendly and efficient, making it the perfect spot for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner pickup. I’m definitely going back soon to explore more of the menu!
One quick tip for future visitors: They’re cash only, so remember to hit the ATM first!
If you’re looking for authentic, delicious Italian food, this is the place.

Can’t say anything bad about a place w/ good character.. crack a joke & feel the place automatically get more comfortable.
(If you experience anything other, don’t blame me for your choice of joke.

Joe’s did not disappoint. We found this little gem on our way through Jersey. Located at 2062 Springfield Ave, Vauxhall, NJ. After a long days drive from Canada and a mini tour of the area, pizza was exactly what we craved for and Joe’s Famous Pizza hit the spot. Cash only and features a great variety and a warm welcome. From us Canadians to you, thank you!!!!!

Joe’s Pizza is fantastic. If you’re hungry, you can eat a whole pie by yourself. Thin and flavorful. Plain is all you need. No toppings necessary. No need to cover up the taste of this critter. Joe and Jerri (I think her name is) are hospitable. Definitely a great neighborhood establishment.

The owner has no respect for customers hes rude and condescending. His business is cash only I attempted to use the atm it took money out of my account but didn’t give me all the cash then a error message popped up
When I tried to explain he cut me off and told me to use the atm in the laundry across the street when I explained the issue he still didn’t care luckily my money was returned to my account never again will I go there the cashier was so patient and helpful the owner is a Jerk

I see the appeal. The crust is really light just the right combination of crispy and chewy. A little light on the sauce in the sauce to cheese ratio for my ideal but some folks prefer a cheesier slice. I drove 30 mins to come, I personally wouldn’t drive out of my way again but if in the area it’s a good option.

This has been rated as one of the Best Pizza in the county, so of course we need to try it for the Pizza Hunters App. You don’t have a Pizza Business for 72 years and not know what you are doing. While people fight for parking spots on the street, this place has a huge parking lot. The pizza speaks to you on all 3 levels. The sauce, crust and cheese are all equally great. Everything is made fresh in the front of the Pizzeria, so you can watch the entire process. The thin slice that is prepared in a pan really sets this slice apart from others. People are very nice and passionate about Pizza..The Parlor itself has a real old school feel..great on all levels. Cant wait for some of the other Pizza Hunters to try this Pizza. Grear Job Joe’s.
