It was last night 8 pm. I was tje only one in the diner. only other order in was a to go order.
the diner must have changed hands ot doesn’t allow smoking anymore- which os ok I guess.
I remember the omelets use to be thick. I got a cheese omelet. which was about a quarter inch thick. egg paper thin around the omelet. the cheese was cold on the top not even melted. the old cheese on top zap the heat out of the rest of the omelet.
my hash browns left grease all over the plate and was burnt on the ends- not just crispy but burnt.
the quality of the food dropped from the last time I was here. It’s sad how a place can go down hill fast.
of this visit was like the last one it would have rated more stars but im.not reviewing that visit but this one.
all I can say is ill give this another chance but never at night again.

This place is a great place to unwind and have a great meal….the waitress is pretty hot too. Ms. Jesse
Just finished my meal and it was great….nothing fancy just straight up great place to decompress after a 700 mile day….
Im very happy and its now on my list of favorites for sure. Great mix of local family farmers and truck drivers….you know the hard working Americans type

Love restaurants like this! It’s a flash back to better times! It’s clean and the menu has something for everyone. Wish I could stop in here again but with me being a driver from Ohio it probably won’t happen. Oh, and the best part is they allow smoking inside! I don’t smoke but I love the fact that the owners are going against the norm!

Ordered the pot roast special with mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and side salad. It also came with a roll served with margarine. I would have preferred butter, but that’s okay. The side salad was okay. Needed more dressing. The coleslaw was fantastic! The mashed potatoes and the pot roast were certainly up to par. Ordered pumpkin pie for dessert. The portions were abundant, and the overall food quality was excellent! Denny’s, take a seat, ‘cause Joe’s Diner is taking home the trophy tonight!!

Good stuff. Old muscle car pics on the wall.
And Ashtrays on the table and yes you heard right and they are there for use. It’s Missouri the show me state. Don’t go getting dandruff up in a wad.
The place is clean ! Restrooms too. Lots of parking for trucks of every size. The fur babies have room to run. The food coffee are great !People are nice ! I am coming back!

This place is amazing. Great folks, good food, large portions, great prices, and tons of cool things to look at. Reminiscent of a 50’s diner. I’ll be stopping here every time I come through.

Joe’s is a classic old school truck. Stop diner great lunch specials, reasonably priced, good portions, good food, good service and you can smoke there like the good old days. A little cigarette smoke smells good. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I highly recommend Joe’s diner
